I wanted an established company that did their single job expertly; i wanted a company that was valued by other professionals. It's just fact: i will only get the roof replaced once on my house, which is not enough interaction to establish a relationship with a vendor--I needed to rely on an existing relationship. David is not merely charming, he is 100% invested in being the best--his easy good nature comes from confidence, and that confidence comes from his team. Preferred Roofing not only did work i cannot do, hard & messy work, they did work i didn’t even know existed. Maybe I could nail down a sheet of plywood and lay a tile... but i had not even heard of an O’Hagin Vent, and i can’t possibly explain how to “torch a cricket”. I was glad to find professionals, and happy to pay for their work. My house was immediately more comfortable; honestly, the next week was as hot as summer, my house was easily 15 degrees cooler than pattern. The new roof was worth every dollar. David wrapped the project personally, stopping by to review the job and provide paperwork. The final payment stayed exactly on bid. "We had to wail a bit because we were hit with rain. When the tiles were removed, it rained and leaked threw my ceilings before they could get the tarp up to cover the roof. As part of the roofing, they painted all my ceilings. You wouldn't know there were water stains. This team was terrific. The roof looks great. In addition, when the final city inspection happened, the inspector said that they did a great job. That made me feel even better about choosing Gio Roofing. I've already given their information to a friend and one of my neighbors."

"During the first rain of the year, our roof sprung several leaks in the same general area. Given that the roof was 37 years old, there was the probability of more leaks as time went on. We decided to replace the entire roof, not the barrel tiles which were in good shape, just the underlayment. Through Angie's list we selected and checked out four companies. Three of the subsequent bids were in a relatively tight band. The fourth was too low and discarded. AP Roofing was the lowest of the three. For us the lowest price was not necessarily the best. AP Roofing, in the person of David, really impressed us. Specifically he pointed out areas of run off improvement and presented us with a contract the terms of which were superior to the others in many respects. On that basis we accepted his bid. Work started on time, daily cleanup was excellent and the work progressed as promised. The only exception being a day's delay due to high wind conditions. Work was completed on time. \We are very satisfied with David and AP Roofing in their professional manner, workmanship, adherence to time schedules and their overall responsiveness to our concerns. We definitely recommend them."
