"Technician also corrected long standing problem with an original door jamb for the entry door"

I’m a residential contractor with 32 years of hands-on construction experience. I spent 24 years as a lead carpenter building everything from custom homes to tract homes, including a few log homes, and the past 8 years have focused primarily on residential remodeling.\n\nI take pride in doing quality work, paying attention to the details, and treating every customer’s home as if it were my own. I have experience with kitchens, bathrooms, basements, flooring, decks, fences, repairs, and many other remodeling projects.\n\nMy goal is simple: do the job right, communicate with the homeowner, and leave them satisfied with the finished work.

"The drywall repair was done timely , and it was an excellent job."

"We had a couple of contractors look at the door and they said it would require tearing out the dry wall to expose the guides and rollers. Ron said he thought he could repair it withot a major effort. When we first called him he aswered the phone from a job site and had us call back to leave contact info. He came out to look at the job two days after we contacted him and scheduled to come out early the next week. His estimate was for $260. He said he always wanted to estimate high and only charge what was required. He showed up a few minutes early and repaired the door without a problem. His actual charge was $75.

"I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"
