"Kris at DK Appliance was the second repairman, after the first was unsatisfactory. I knew the heating element was out and the first guy replaced it. When there was still no heat the first guy and I didn't agree on lots of things. So I came to Angie's List, got several call-backs, and Kris arrived the next morning on Dec. 22. He called early and had me run the dishwasher an hour before arrival. He stayed 2 hours to confirm the control board needed replacing. Ordered the part and was going to come Christmas Eve. Local part place was closed the 24th, but I ordered directly from Whirlpool and Kris was still able to come. Friendly, professional, explained what was going on. His wife was awesome on the phone as well. If you see the cost listed below it doesn't include the part. Like I told him, whenever I call a repair person (probably 6 in 2018) I learn something: either something about the repair or which person not to call back. If needed, I would definitely call DK APPLIANCE again."

"I'll try to fix most things. Sometimes I win and sometimes I lose. On this one I lost. I pulled the faucet apart and went to Lowe's to buy a replacement cartridge. They didn't carry the part so I went home and tried to put it back together so it would work (with the leak). I couldn't get it back together and we couldn't use the sink. :-(  So I randomly called R&S Plumbing and spoke to Roman, the owner. Within 3 hours of my call Roman was at our home and quickly replaced the cartridge. It's like brand new now. I can move the lever with my pinky whereas before I had to really push the lever hard to start the water or change from cold to hot water. Needless to say I couldn't believe how quickly and professionally the repair went. I'm a happy customer."

"This was a pretty big job - we were completely replacing plumbing fixtures throughout the house. William and his team did an impeccable job - I had additional plumbing contractors working on a bathroom remodel, and after seeing his work they commented "It is beautiful...That is the mark of a good plumber if you ask me." That really sealed the deal for me - seeing another plumber in awe of his work. He also came back out on short notice when I was having an issue with a sink drain - (it was my mistake 100%, everything was installed perfectly, but he didn't make me feel like a dummy.) The only unexpected event was shift in scheduling based on an emergency plumbing repair call he received - but ultimately that made me feel good if I ever have an emergency in the future, he'd drop everything to sort me out."
