"Liz & Alan are great to work with. From the beginning to end, they listened to what we wanted and gave us options in the design and layout of our new patio. Communication was key and Liz kept us apprised of times and dates for the scope of work. They started soon after a couple of weeks and started work removing our old deck which was a monster in itself. They got the new patio started from removing the old foundation that was also underneath the old deck, starting from the bare bones. Two weeks later, they completed the new patio, cleaned up the backyard and surrounding areas. Alan then gave us the rundown of the scope of work that entailed everything and gave us directions in caring for our new patio as well. We know and feel we spent our hard earned money with the right crew. They provided exceptional quality work and professionalism throughout and it was an awesome experience. We look forward to having them come back next year and do the rest of our landscaping/ hardscape in the front and back yards. Thank you again Liz, Alan & Limitless Landscape crew!"

"Level up did an awesome job, they took time to listen, addressed my concerns with the job. My backyard doesn’t look the same anymore. I will definitely call them again when it’s time for my patio."

"It went wonderfully.  Robert provided me with two detailed estimates in order for me to make a cost-effective decision and once they arrived, their work ethic and attention to getting the job completed was very focused. The communication was prompt when I had questions and they were always pleasant and polite.
Of note, being a woman who owns a home and talking to contractors, there is sometimes a condescension or a tendency to talk to "my husband." (I am single).  These fellows treated me with respect, they actively listened, they were polite, professional and efficent.   Thank you for truly being a 21st century company and for showing that extra bit of professionalism that I so appreciate.
I will recommend this company to all my friends!

"Ran into difficulties not caused by the contractor.  This left the project unfinished for sometime and then it was hard to get them back to finish the project.  However, the quality of the finished project was completed as was agreed and specified.

"Needed new landscaping, old bushes were overgrown and out of control, plus there were drainage issues caused by a cement patio that had shifted.  Mike and Cindi came over a couple of times and came up with a great, detailed plan.  Workers were all very responsible. Patio work was beautifully done plus they came up with a creative solution to prevent future problems. There were a some glitches along the way...our internet line was accidentally cut but they covered the repair bill with no hassle. Some of the plantings/bushes did not survive the winter but they are in the process of replacing those as well.  Pricing may be a little higher than some but the quality of service was very much worth it to us.

"De Brun is awesome! Paul is a fantastic, honest, intelligent, hard working individual that knows how to make the customer happy. He helped us transform our outdated landscaping on the front of our house into a beautiful, low maintenance setup. He also did a custom small patio off our front porch that turned out amazing. Fair pricing, quick response, and great work. What else can you ask for!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Carter Lake, IA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
