"I had previously talked to 3 contractors about installing a patio, and got quotes from two of them. By the time my HOA finally approved the work, the contractor I chose was no longer able to fit me in a reasonable schedule. I called Julio out to do my yard work, and explained my situation. Not only is the patio BEAUTIFUL, but the yard is successfully draining and drying. "Initially I thought I wanted just a concrete pad. When George (Melvin) came out to look at the work he explained a few options I had with regard to a patio. I decided to change the work to a gravel base and wait until I had a deck installed to get the concrete base for the pavers that’s I want for my patio. George was on-time for our meetings and started the work the next day after we signed a contract. The project turned out as expected and quickly with no surprise costs at the end. "5 Star Experience - when getting estimates for fixing my 30_year old flagstone patio, we were initially hesitant because Glen's estimate was a bit higher than what we had planned for the job, but he made some pretty lofty claims about how he could restore the patio to like new. It turned out that his estimate was quite reasonable when compared to other estimates and when I saw the actual work that his team performed I knew it was a very reasonable price. The night and day difference is astounding. It's a pleasure to use the patio every day now. He and his team were great to work with. They were hard working, courteous, and very skilled. "I was extremely satisfied with the professional conduct of this job. I had carefully designed the structure of the shed. It was important that all the dimensions of the slab be met accurately and that the 6 posts be placed precisely and perfectly vertical. They were. Working with Jaime was very satisfying as we had numerous discussions about details as the job progressed. I provided some large salvage planks from the old shed that could be used to build forms, and he provided several significant suggestions to improve the end result. The slab was on a slight slope. He provided much deeper concrete on the downhill side to anchor the slab and resist underwash. He provided a large footer under each post before the main concrete pour, because the posts were going to carry the entire weight of the roof. I would not have thought to do that. This is the value of hiring an experienced contractor. The shed has been completed and the first delivery of sawdust has been made. The slabs stood up to the significant weight of the delivery truck as can be seen in my pictures."
