"There is absolutely nothing negative I could say about Mike's Hardwood Floors. Mike showed up exactly at the appointed time with an efficient, on-the-spot estimate based on measurements. We hired him then and there and set a date. On the appointed date, they showed up with everything they needed and got right down to work. An efficiency expert couldn't make their work more precise. Our floors were old and seriously worn, dark and dirty looking. The previous owners had smoked in the home for decades and had pets as well. When they were all done the floors were like new, better than new even. Several shades lighter, so shiny and clean! I really couldn't believe they were able to accomplish what they did. Whatever they used didn't stink and dried very quickly. All in all, it was an amazingly easy experience."

We had two full bathrooms completely re-done as well as new kitchen counter tops and laminate flooring installed. Emily LaRose, the designer, is the consummate professional designer. She has a firm grasp of design concepts and gave us functional and beautiful designs. She is a skillful communicator, equally strong at explaining choices and listening to and addressing our concerns or preferences. Emily kept the projects on track and made herself available for our questions. Our initial choice for laminate flooring for the kitchen was discontinued by the manufacturer. Emily immediately contacted us, and we met. She presented other recommended choices that would work with our counter top choice and existing cabinetry. We ended up with beautiful flooring and an on-schedule installation. Emily visited our home throughout the projects and always answered our phone calls and emails promptly. She was extremely helpful and easy to work with throughout the entire process.
