"Ardian offered an excellent price for completing a unique retaining wall on my property and adding Belgian blocks to the side of my driveway. A previous owner had bought river rocks but only built half the wall, leaving hundreds of rocks all over the yard. I called several companies and all of them wanted to remove the existing stone wall and build a new one with generic blocks, which would cost me tens of thousands of dollars (and still leave me with tons and tons of rocks). Also, the previous owner installed Belgian blocks on only one side of the driveway and I needed to have it completed. Ardian came over for an estimate and said â I have 15 years of experience building this type of wall and Iâ d love to complete it for you.â He also said he could match the Belgian blocks as well. He and his team came on time, as scheduled, completed the job quickly, and cleaned up before they left. The wall he built looks amazing and matches the existing structure (built 30 years ago) perfectly! The Belgian blocks also match perfectly and they are a great finishing touch. Charles is also very creative and 100% trustworthy We met with nine top rated companies before picking Charles & Son (recommend by a friend in Upper Montclair as well as good reviews on Angie's List). He gave us a great computer generated design before they did the work. Huge crew with lots of equipment. As a producer who builds a lot of movie sets, I know a highly skilled and hard working crew when I see one. We could not be happier with the work they did. We had one small electrical issue three months later, and Charles sent his crew over the same day and fixed the problem. We are now hiring Charles & Son to do more landscaping work, some structural work on our garage, and interior stone flooring. From an integrity, work ethic, an quality perspective, I give these guys an A. (BTW, their bookkeeping dept. caught an accidental overpayment we made on our last check, and sent us back a check for the overpayment.)"
