Happy that they actually showed up to give an estimate given not many people do service in my location.The representative was generally pleasant to work with in the beginning and I am happy with the completed project. I never received a contract with square footage in per price, just a quote for the two projects which seemed fair. Was contacted and given a date they would arrive and asked if there was any preparation needed beforehand. A part of this was asking if I needed to secure my pets. Asked again about a firm confirmation about measurements and price, was told that would be taken care of on the day they came and I would have a two-day notice before their arrival.Got a panicky phone call at 6:00PM on 3/17 and if they could show up Sunday at 9:00AM all to wake up at 7:30 already prepping the garage. The supervisor arrived after 9:00 and work had already begun. When he arrived I asked for the square footage and price again. When he told me the garage was 1600 sq I told him to remeasure as it was actually under 1400. At first he mentioned the prep work and took 200 sq off the price. I then realized I should have checked the attic square footage in the house and once again the calculation was off,this time by over 300. By this point he got a bit hyper over me questioning his numbers. He re-measured and agreed he was off and said he would give a deduction off the house as well, making it sound like he was doing me a favor instead of charging the true price. We both accepted a new price which in reality was still higher than it should have really been (only by a little bit). By this time I realized one of my four in/outdoor cats was missing. I do not blame them for a curious cat but when asked if I should have secured them, the answer should have been yes. When asked if there was any way it could have been foamed into the attic I was told that was impossible and claimed to have seen it outside. After twelve hours and a sad night worried about the cat well-being faint cries were heard from the ceiling. After tearing a hole the cat was retrieved with no harm. To finish up, the project was completed in a day, stray foam pieces make it look like a beanbag chair exploded but that can easily be cleaned, a still overly-curious cat is safe, and a hole is in my ceiling. If I ever need anything insulated again I would rehire them but have the cats secured and double-check the measurements along with true pricing. Still waiting on the guarantee. I brought this house as a foreclosure about a year ago and in that time I have had the kitchen, bathrooms, roof, siding and floors all replaced either by companies or family. As I mentioned already, I live in an area that is hard to find people that want to work but I want to thank Home Advisor for finding this company as well the one who jacked up by floor. I do not feel as though I am overly demanding, I just want to get what I paid for and be sure it gets completed. Overall, I am happy to know the roofs are secure and waiting to see if this summer, A/C bill is lower."
