The only problem was that he used a long handled brush (more like a broom) that did not have the normal kind of bristles as a real paint brush. Consequently he was not able to apply as thick a coat as he could have if he used a normal brush. (which I offered in the original project plan). Therefore the pergola should really have a second coat. He said he would come back and do a second coat for $189. But since I already paid him $580 that seems too costly. I think he should have offered to do a second coat free."

In addition, he replaced a toilet, hung a heavy mirror, and replaced bathroom lights. All of this was done with care.
