Victor, my amazing repair person, found a small hole the previous builder hid at initial construction at the corner of second floor slash roof. The flashing wasnt done right and the hole allowed the water to work its way down. After 20yrs of this minor leaking it destroyed my wall, damaged the rock, and even worked its way to the beginning of the flooring above the basement room. The pictures show what 20yrs of a tiny leak can do. What a simple minor leak looked like, was actually a monster that damaged alot. They fixed everything to perfection, even found a second minor issue after fixing the flashing. "He showed up on the date arranged and did a complete roof analysis (he told me this by phone, since he did the "maintenance package" while I was at work). After examining, sealing and calking everything that needed it, he called me and let me know the status of my roof and anything that may need to be done for it.  Fortunately, everything looked good and nothing additional was needed.  This impressed me, since he obviously did not try to "upsell" me, asking me to purchase a service or object that wasn't really needed.  This alone earned my respect and trust!  I have had small leaks around the skylights, and so will test the quality of the calking when we have our next serious rain storm!

"I recently began renting my home through a management company. When the AC stopped working I had my management company contact an AC company, and they chose Expert. Expert quoted $4000 to replace the AC. I then found another AC company myself (Humphrey) for a second opinion. Humphrey was able to fix the AC simply by changing the capacitor and fuse. Expert either 1) didn't bother to even look at it because the work order was coming from a management company and figured they paid whatever, or 2) did a really poor job diagnosing the problem. Either way, neither is favorable. My lesson learned as a new landlord--always find a repair company yourself."

"They worked really diligently to complete the project in the stated time frame and did so pretty well.  They acknowledged having perhaps a few too many jobs at one time (probably everyone needed projects finished before the weather turned as we did!) to complete the job when expected which didn't pose any problems for us.  They were courteous and friendly and did a great job.  They made a concerted effort to protect newly planted flowers and bushes which they did fairly well.  Only a couple mishaps.  They cleaned up very well (stucco work can be messy).  Mike, Dr. Patch, is quiet and reserved and and Stan, Mr. Stucco Master, is talkative and gregarious.  Without reservation we'd re-hire them again and recommend them to friends.
