James responded to our inquiry quickly, gave us an estimate in one day, and was here with his equipment the next day. He and his assistant were  courteous and did a great job on our carpets. He even gave us a discount off his normal rate since our bedrooms are a little smaller than average. To top it all off, when my car wouldn't start, he jumped it for me before he left. "I am beyond impressed with the work and customer service provided by Counter Culture! They truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had a exceptional experience. We visited quite a few different granite/quartz showrooms in Lexington and found that Counter Culture had the best selection for white quartz and was reasonably priced. What really made our experience so great was that after the counters had been installed, that evening we realized we needed our dishwasher bracketed to the counters. We texted GJ (the President of Counter Culture) and he came out at 7:00pm that same night. We were not expecting him to drop everything and come out that night and were blown away by the level of care and customer service he provided. "My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend them. <br /> The selection process went well.  The sales associate was very helpful with us making a decision on what stone to choose, edge style and back splash.  We ended up with a Black Pearl stone which is very dark.  They worked with us on the price and it was reasonable (not great but fair and better than another quote we had from another supplier).  There were no issues with the person that came out to create the template.  The install went pretty well.  They took care to do it right, however the polish in the area where there was a seam didn't turn out too well.  There was also a light, suspicious arc that was in the stone that looked like something was defective. We called them back to look at it.  After about a week later, the owner came by to take a look at our concerns.  He agreed that the polish needed to be redone and scheduled someone to redo it right away.  The arc we saw had mostly faded away and the owner said he thought it was just something natural in the stone.  We agreed and it has not been an issue.  The polish turned out much better and the countertop looks beautiful. <br />"

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. Granite Gold also provides excellent professional support."

"One rug was fine. The other rug was still dirty and spotted. I cleaned a couple of dirty places on the rug and then took the cleaning rag back to the cleaners. Once the owner saw the dirty cleaning rag, he apologized and had the rug recleaned. It was fine after the second cleaning and he gave me a $25.00 credit. <br />"
