"Called Rosedale Service late on 21 May. Rosedale Service came out on 22 May and determined washer needed new belt (belt was obviously shot), which had to be ordered. Rosedale Service installed belt the next day (23 May), however, that did not fix the problem. Rosedale Service returned the next day and determined a seal was causing the belt to slip (and burn up). Seal was ordered and installed on 28 May (after the Memorial day holiday), along with another new belt. Washer is working fine now.
While the above took days, the real problem was masked by the belt failure. New belt worked fine after installed, however, it failed that evening. 2nd belt showed signs of burn through. Observation: taking apart the washer in our our laundry center was not an easy task. Rosedale Service cleaned up the work site after the repair.
I would call Rosedale Service again if needed.

Lenny responded that very evening, set up an appointment for the next morning (a Saturday), diagnosed the problem and ordered parts needed for repair. "Initially, we requested assistance for dishwasher repair of Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC via Angie's List. When we received no reply from Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC after nearly 2 weeks, we assumed they were neither interested nor very professional. When Angie's List asked us to review Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC, we flunked them ("F"s). A week later, and after someone else (not contacted thru Angie's List) had repaired our dishwasher, we finally received a reply from Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC via Angie's List messaging, expressing their interest in our job. I phoned Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC who claimed that they had received our initial request after a considerable delay ("a software problem resulted in communication delays"). While I cannot "undo" my initial Angie's List review of Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC, I can offer this updated correction, applauding Quick Fix Appliance Services LLC for reaching out to me in spite of the delay. I note their interest and will contact them again for any future appliance repair needs. "Our washing machine broke down on Saturday afternoon -- why do appliances always break on the weekend? -- and it is no longer covered by warranty. We had used A & S before and were very satisfied with their service so we thought we would try them again.  We called them early Monday morning and they agreed to send a tech between 3:00 and 6:00 that day.  At 3:00, the tech Schuyler called to inform us that he would be at our home in 10 minutes.  We showed him the washer and described the problem.  He checked out the unit and quickly diagnosed the problem as a broken motor coupler.  He gave us an estimate for the time and cost to repair and we agreed.  He had the necessary part and tools in his truck and quickly returned to make the repair. He carefully moved a few things out of his way in the laundry room and tilted the washer in order to make the repair.  All told, he took about 15 minutes to remove the damaged part and install the replacement.  After he re-positioned the washer and replaced the items that he had to move, he tested the machine thoroughly and let it run while he returned his tools to his truck and wrote up the invoice.  He also gave us his cell phone number so we could call him in case we noticed any problems with the repair.  The invoice price matched the estimate exactly, as it should.  Overall, it was another excellent experience with a very good service company."
