"Trevor and his crew had come and scoped the job giving us an estimate. After we agreed they were chosen to the work, we were given a starting date. The crew showed up on time and worked for two and a half days to prepare the area for the patio extension and build a beautiful retaining wall for the area that set back into the hill. The stairs to the front door were replaced with newly constructed rebar and structural elements that will last for many more years than the original stair that only lasted 24 years. The new stairs now match the full width of the front porch which now looks much more symmetrical. The pad leading up to the stairs was enlarged and lengthened. They came back on the third day and the concrete was poured and finished. When they finished the work they made sure they cleaned up the job site and left everything as it was before. Trevor and his crew did an excellent job and we are so happy with how the job turned out and we highly recommend them for any work you may need completed."

I was surprised that they were able to remove the old concrete without jack hammering using their mini backhoe. Rick was able to re-contour the driveway surface in front of the door to permit cars to enter and exit the garage without scraping as they had done before. The exposed aggregate surfaces are exactly what we had wanted. We were able to go through the following winter without using any ice melter on driveway or walks."

"They were prompt and completed the job timely in April 2017. We then had the driveway professionally sealed in June 2017 as they recommended. The problem is the concrete is now badly scaling. I called them twice to explain the situation and they said they would send someone to look at the problem. It's been over two months and no one has contacted me and no one ever came to see the condition of the concrete. "I left a message and Robert called me back within an hour, so I appreciated the quick return of the call,  I told him I had two 4" diameter holes to repair as well as a small area adjacent to a recessed light.  He told me that it's a pretty easy repair, but he has a minimum charge of $175.  I was having furntiure delivered in my living room and I told Robert I would like to get the work done prior to the delivery.  He said he couldn't promise anything, but he would do the best he could.  Well, Robert finished a job early on the other side of Pittsburgh and asked if he could come over and do the work.  I was able to meet him at my house within 30 minutes.  It took him and his helper maybe 40 minutes to finish everything.  They put out several drop cloths to catch anything that might fall (and it did fall) and swept the carpet afterwards.  They were not able to match the texture of the ceiling; that was a little disappointing but not a surprise.  But, the texture was done well enough that no one would notice unless I called their attention to it.

"We built a beautiful 3 stall 1.5 story detached garage but held off on installing a driveway for sometime. When we only had a gravel drive, our garage would flood during any significant rainfall as the ground slopes toward the garage.  To solve this issue, in addition to proper grading and sloping of the concrete, Mike and his crew installed a trench drain with heavy metal grates outside each stall.  This solved all of our water issues!  The driveway is beautiful and he even took care to make the concrete thicker near the road to accommodate the garbage truck that occasionally pulls onto the driveway a bit to pick up our trash.  The project was completed in a professional and timely manner.  I'm especially particular about cleanliness and the crew was great about cleaning up after themselves.   Everyone involved was pleasant to deal with.  Mike is great about answering questions and explaining things.  He even offered solutions for keeping leaves from clogging my drains! It was great to have a solid driveway to make snow removal easier this winter, and despite the crazy weather we had, the driveway still looks great.  We will not hesitate to call on Westmoreland Concrete Construction for any additional projects.
