The windows and doors were available 3 days early and scheduled the installation 2 days early. All completed in one long day. The 5-man crew was very efficient and skilled. The foreman Pedro was great, communicated everything and asked questions, came up with some final finishing solutions and made sure everything was right. The only negative might be the slightly "caulked" appearance of the final product but it was well done. I think this is the compromise of a replacement window and for the price point was the right decision for this property. I could feel and hear the difference in heat gain and noise insulation immediately compared to the original single pane windows."

"Anyone with a slate or tile roof needing repairs should consider using Roberts Roofing. A tree crashed through my 70 year old slate roof. There was damage to half the front side of the house roof. The roof is very different from most slate roofs. While most slate roofs use the same color, width and thickness tile, my roof used random width, color and thickness tile. Matching their work to the old roof was a challenging job. The Roberts team ( 11 craftsmen ) removed slightly more than half the roof. They mixed in approximately 2,000 reclaimed tiles from their vast inventory with the tiles they harvested from my roof. The result.... excellent. The pattern match.... flawless. "We dealt with the owner by phone, describing the plaster repairs we wanted to have made.  On the appointed day, employee arrived and declared the main repair item--filling a gap between the edge of one wall and and an adjoining brick wall--as  not eligible under the terms of the deal.  When I protested, he consulted with the owner, who agreed with him and then told me so in a very disagreeable manner.  The plasterer subsequently spent less than two of the promised four hours on smoothing out uneven areas in the ceiling.  Another plasterer I hired subsequently had no problem dealing with the repair.
