"the guy who actually installed the doors was helpful, efficient, and did a really good job, but the cost seemed high to me from the beginning, the installer told me that the owner tended to overprice people for small jobs, and when I went to pay, he called in and said they had jacked up the price for the estimate and were asking for more money. He was upset by this, and said he wouldn't charge me for more than I was quoted, but also asked if I could pay with check instead of credit card so that he wouldn't have to call in again (to get the card approve) because they knew he'd give them a hard time about not getting more money from me. So - individual great; company not trustworthy"

From the initial design phase to the finishing touches, his craftsmanship is flawless. I was adamant that when installing my ceiling beans, that i did not want any of my light fixtures moved. He made that happen. Other contractors wanted to move the lights in order to place my beams. Ethan took time to figure it all out. Ethan also put a railing on my front porch steps. He is very talented. He had respect for my home, put plastic everywhere to minimize debris and cleaned up every night before he left. At the end of my project he hired a cleaner to get my house back in order. I could not be happier with the final result, and I would definitely hire Ethan."

He oversaw several subcontractors including ceiling work, framing/structural work, installation of ceramic tile, plumbing. I brought in my own HVAC subcontractor. He did electrical work and finish carpentry. He and his twin brother did the IKEA cabinet mounting and base cabinet framing with an eye to precision and accuracy; he also framed out our pantry project to a high level of finish and recommended dimensions for pantry doors for a good final design.
