"Let me preface this review by saying: I will gladly follow-up and change this review should the conclusion of my furniture buying experience with Whit-Ash Furnishings be better than it has been so far. My wife and I were back at her home town on Lake Murray and were looking for a new bedroom set. I am an officer in the Army, newly stationed at Ft Bragg, NC and we had our entire house put together aside from our master bedroom. Her family had bought from Whit-Ash so we gave it a shot. After looking at all of the selections, we bought a new bedset for just over $2k and added in an additional delivery fee to have the furniture delivered to our house at Ft Bragg. The furniture was purchase on Dec 30th, and we were told that it would be delivered in just over three weeks on January 23rd. We were excited because they said they would give us a “special” delivery fee since i was in the military, and gladly handed over the nearly $2,600.00. Fast forward three weeks and we had heard nothing about our furniture, and it has been very clear that the “special delivery fee” for being in the military was in fact just a “cheap delivery fee, so we can change our mind on the delivery date”. Our furniture was supposed to be delivered tomorrow, and we had not heard anything from Whit-Ash on a delivery confirmation. Finally, I called the store and after about 10 minutes on the line my order was finally recovered in paper form after digging around. All I was told is “sorry your salesman didn’t tell us, so it will he delivered in another week”. Mind you— I start a covid quarantine next week prior to leaving for a 5 week long army reconnaissance course. So cheers to sleeping with our laundry on the ground and on an old mattress for another seven days. It is obvious that our salesman only cared about the commission from the sale and not the follow-through to make sure the customer is taken care of. I would love to change my review, but I have no furniture and a lack of $2,600 in my bank account."

"Some of the worst service and product I have ever received. Drapes did not fit the windows after the roomsbeautiful "specialists" did their measurements. Drapes arrived crumpled into a small box- which require professional steaming and ironing to straighten. Even so, they tell me if can do it myself, and the drapes looks even worse after ironing. The lining that THEY selected for me looks like reflective trash bags up in my windo from outside. I also expressed concern that I should only get one window treated first as a test, before committing to all 5- and the roomsbeautiful agent persuaded me to just do all 5. So I spend 2000 on these Drapes, which I will never in a thousand years put up in my home. And they won't accept refunds, and they only take zelle payments which cannot be reversed or argued. So WARNING: do not trust this company, and do NOT give them your money!!!"

"Debra is awesome. I had also met with the other major competitor in the area and no comparison. She was worlds better. Extremely helpful and professional. She genuinely cares about making sure you get the right product/look for your needs and the quality of the work. Great selection of fabrics and knowledge of what will work for you. Her daughter does a wonderful job with the installation. Very reasonable price. Be prepared, custom window treatments aren't cheap but you will get better quality and service for your investment with them than the competition. Will use them again and would recommend to anyone. If you are considering investing in custom window treatments, please do yourself a favor and meet with Debra before committing to purchasing from anyone else."

"Horrible customer service and the product is only getting worse over time. I have ordered 16 shutters from them over 5 separate orders during the last two years. A recent order late last year came with parts missing and getting replacement parts was a hassle because I had to provide pictures. How do you provide pictures of missing parts? My most recent order arrived without the mounting strips and blocking strips being pre-drilled. I received the screws and screw covers but no holes for them. After multiple back and forth with "Angie" from customer service I was forwarded a poorly spelled response from their supplier stating "usually" they don't pre-drill holes. Usually? All of my other shutters over the last two years were pre-drilled. I was then told it was my fault because this order was a single panel shutter vs all my previous orders being dual shutters and I would have to pay to get replacement strips with pre-drilled holes in them. What does a single vs a dual shutter have to do with whether or not holes are drilled in hanging and blocking strips?"
