"I had been searching for patio renovators/builders and landscaping contractors for some work to be done for a while now, over a month. Had a few coming in for estimates, however none were effecient or seemed like they were interested in getting the work. When I hadnt heard back from any of them, that is when I contacted Home Advisors for contractors in my area. They recommended JB Gardens Inc. And some others. I decided after checking their website, I would contact JB Gatdens Inc. They were very enthusiatic about coming over for an estimate and chat with me on what my projects were. They were courteous and liistened and professional about the work to be done and shared with me their experience and porrfolio and also shared with me some sample pavers on the very first day we met. Within that same day, I was sent quotes and supply lists via email. I was happy with the price and it was fair and reasonable. I was very impressed with the teams' work, work ethics, professionalism and candor. Very honest, upfront and they were willing to perform little tasks on the side for me at no extra cost. They worked for about 9 days straight and built me a wonderful patio, a side patio and 2 walkways (one with a front porch). Their work is immaculate, they pay so much attention to detail and cleaned up beautifully. A happy team is a happy and content employee and their management is what makes the company. I couldnt say more. They were superb and I would hire them again in future, should I have any home improvement projects. Many good returns to JB Gardens Inc (Jose, Manuel and Team) and looking forward to my landscaping work to begin in Oct! See you back then!"

"Mike was awesome from the start. He showed up on time to discuss the work we needed for both the front and back yard. During this visit, he drew up a new design for the front yard and provided a written estimate for all work. My husband and I decided to go with work only for the front yard to save a bit of money right now, but overall we did feel that Mike's estimate was a fair price. We would hire him again to do the work for the back yard - no question.
As noted above, Mike and his crew completely overhauled our front yard, fixing drainage and grading issues that we had had for years, but were exacerbated by a recent large tree removal earlier this year. Mike needed to bring in a stump remover for more than half a day to complete the work that the tree removal service left behind - no extra charge.
After two days, we had a brand new front yard, complete with fresh new sod and new landscaping. It looks great! We are so pleased with the work. The crew cleaned up after themselves, and Mike has been available to answer any follow-on questions we've had since then, about care, etc.

"When they did the edges, I didn’t want them to put the bricks there. I wanted them to put a trench to separate where the grass started and the flower bed. I asked them to do it because I wanted it to look more professional and not like something crazy I did that wasn’t straight. It looks very crooked like something I would have done. The front they did well. I told him and he came back out and let him off the hook. He acknowledgeable that he could have done a better job. They didn’t’ put the extensions on the down spout far enough. So now I need to re-dig and make them lower or add more top soil above. They didn’t do a professional job as I would have liked. They were supposed to spray and a couple of days later I noticed that none of the vegetation was dying. I called back and they acknowledge it and came back out. They were responsive.    I tried to use them again but they were not responsive."

"He was prompt for the appointment and came when he said he would to give a walkthrough of my landscaping. I was a little scared away from them when he pointed out some of my plants and called the wrong name.  He also gave some suggestions that I did not agree with. I did not follow through to have them actually do the work based on their knowledge."

"Dominion Power had recently installed street lights in our street and dug up the front yard breaking the main pipe for the sprinkler system. AA Irrigation came out on time found the problem dug up the broken pipe and fixed it. One of the sprinkler heads out the back was not rotating properly and they replaced it. They found that one of the solenoid valves was permanently on and there was another leak in the backyard both of which were probably caused by the by the previous rocket scientist that winterized the system, they fixed both of these. I had recently laid sod on the patches of ground that Dominion had left barren and accidentally covered one of the sprinkler heads they carefully cut a hole in the grass to let the sprinkler function. They walked me through the programming of the system and made ithe system function like I wanted. They were very professional, thorough, and polite fellows, I will use them again.
