"The work was performed by Lou's son Andrew. Lou followed up with us 3 separate times to confirm the scope of the project and ensure the materials and design were accurate. Andrew is an extremely hardworker and very meticulous!!! I can't say enough about that! Andrew took his time and completed the project perfectly! At the end of each work day, he cleaned up the job site. Following the completion of our brick patio, I have gained a new found respect for the precision work that goes into building a patio. I would highly recommend Ranieri Construction to someone who wants the job done the correct way. Thank you Lou, Lordis, and Andrew! We love hanging outside in our backyard again!"

"I live in a heavily wooded area and have been using Acorn for over 8 years to keep power lines, driveway and house clear of potential destruction from downed trees. They have always been professional and reliable. They gave me recommendation to have a small battery chainsaw to do minor work by myself to tide me over until they can come do the big clean-up when needed; this has proved useful when smaller but still too big to move limbs have hit blocked the driveway. Would highly recommend. I have not done a cost comparison; they have been so good to deal with for big jobs I keep them as my go for any tree work I have."

"CountryScape Landscape By Far the Best Around Recently I HAD THE PLEASURE of hiring CountryScape Landscape for a home paving and landscaping project. The job was multi-faceted and included excavations, paving a new walkway and patio area as well as hill filling and drainage work, new landscaping contours, a snow melt system and lawn seeding. My husband and I are extremely pleased with the results which have made our property fresh looking, well designed and beautiful. Justine Bardwell, the owner is very professional in his approach to clients, meticulous in his planning and just a pleasure to deal with. John, Matt, Rick and their crew of workers were outstanding and exhibited a rare diligence not normally found in businesses today. They were professional not only in their approach to each phase of the project but extremely courteous, willing to listen, give suggestions and accommodate my special requests within the project’s parameters. They were all highly conscientious, and exhibited a high level of skill sets that met the project’s demands and challenges to a tee. No detail was too small for them. They were efficient, well organized, and timely. The job site was left clean with all disposal work concluded at the end of the project They kept us well apprised of progress. This is top notch business which renders high quality work, coupled with fair pricing. I would highly recommend CountryScape Landscape to anyone."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Cheshire, MA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
