"Had Dawsons come out to demolish and rebuild our back deck, remove a cement prefab front entry and replace with a small porch, and redo our bay window in the front. We went with Dawson for a couple reasons - great reviews online, Greg was pressure-free when it came to deciding what we wanted for the project, and a reasonable estimate. During the course of each project, the work was handled with extreme care and attention, and with great professionalism. Greg was very hands-on throughout the project, and showed up every day to ensure the work was being completed to his standard. The end result was beautiful, exactly what we wanted. "Signed contract on May 8 for deck build.On May 12 rep came to my office to collect deposit of apprx $13,000. He said project team meeting on Wed & would update me then on start date etc. On Fri May 16 I had to reach out to him. He wrote the team had met & materials were ordered. An hour later he wrote back that he was misinformed & that his boss was going to call me next week. Despite this, dep check cashed. On Mon 5. 20 rep wrote back that they had forgotten certain costs & to proceed it would be $8,000 more. Not a typo. $8,000 more. No apology. Ridiculous, contract rescinded. I wrote that he could return my deposit at my office just as he had collected it. On Wednesday the 21st I got a text from "Tom," presumably the owner/boss, saying he would "drop a check in the mail" to my address. Today is May 30th, Friday, and still no check. Check at a minimum should have been overnighted. They owe me interest not to mention the deposit to hire a contractor who will honor contract. Bad."

We are very disappointed in the quality of the wall, it looks barely finished. After seeing the end result, we don't think that Andrew has any experience in landscaping and I would strongly suggest he refrain from taking on any future landscaping projects. We have now had to search for a new landscaper to fix the work he left behind and I would advise others to be cautious and avoid hiring him for landscaping projects. "
