He and his team set to work and helped me by filing all permits and designs with the township and HOA. They worked fast and were extremely focused on the details. I could tell CK was a company of integrity and even built it more sturdy than what was required by the township. Little extras, like joist tape and framing promise to make my deck last long beyond its expected lifetime. "It went fine, however, I was told the job would take roughly 8 hours for 1 person. It ended up being 15 hours, partly with a second handyman. So it was twice as much as we were expecting, and the price is already pretty high. Also, the second handyman brought an extra piece of siding that was not needed. We had already purchased a piece and had it painted, ready to install. So that was an unnecessary added expense. But I guess it's ok as we'll probably need it at some point in the future. What was really weird is that the same mistake happened when we had a piece of siding replaced a few years ago! Overall, they did a good job though, despite the cold weather."
