"I purchased new granite countertops from Ultimate Stone through Angie's list 3 years ago and had them installed in my kitchen. To my shock and dismay, the granite has CRACKED clear through and chipped! I called and sent photos to Ultimate Stone for weeks before I got a call back. Finally, the company president made an appointment to visit my home on a specified date, with a 3-hour window, to look at the problem. I took time off work for this and waited the 3 hours, BUT HE DIDN'T SHOW UP and hasn't returned my follow-up calls, either. I don't know what to do. These granite countertops cost me a LOT. I paid quite a bit more than the original deal because I needed additional countertops made. I had planned to put up my home for sale in the near future, but I can't do this with a big crack in the kitchen counter like this. I dealt with both Ultimate Stone and Angie's List in good faith, and I'm afraid I cannot recommend either at this point."

They were very mindful of protecting our home, and very respectful of our wishes for everyone to follow covid safety protocols. There were the typical hiccups that come with this kind of job, but Steve handled everything professionally, and made everything right. Working with Steve's partner designer, Jennifer worked out well - she has excellent taste, and managed the logistics associated with product ordering and delivery. We are very happy with the end result, and hope to be working with him again soon on our hall bath."

"I bought a new patio table from NW Metalcrafters to replace an older one that was no longer usable. The salesperson Brian was very helpful with the sale, letting me take home color samples to match the new table's finish with my old chairs that I had planned to keep. Several days after the table was delivered, I noticed that one of the legs was bent at a welding joint. I sent photos to NW Metalcrafters and they agreed right away to get a new table from the manufacturer as part of the warranty. Andrew was helpful in arranging and scheduling pickup of the old table and the delivery of the new table."

"I am lucky enough to have met Robert Strahan over 10 years ago when I moved to Naperville. If you want to know why I use Robert Strahan and Strahan Construction I can some it up in one short story. We had our sump pump go out on Labor Day 2018 during a downpour and called thought maybe Robert is around the area. He was out of town for the Holiday and said he was about 30 miles away but that he will be over in 45 minutes. He came in assessed the situation about 7:45 PM ran out to his farm to grab a replacement at 8 PM at night and completely fixed the situation by himself by 10 PM. I really can't say much more than that... Robert is "throw-back" builder/contractor. He is commitment to doing great work and helping making his customers happy no matter the issue. As his customer, I now consider myself to be his friend. We have used him for roofing, bathroom, basement, painting etc and he is 100% my go to on all things that are related to my home."
