"<p>We started out by obtaining four quotes for this job and Stone Age Innovation was by far the most reasonably priced.   In additon to the great pricing, revviews form Angies list gave us the confidence that this was a quality company.  After getting the original quote (which was for the standard granite grades), we had the quote revised to reflect an upgrade in the granite which we picked out at a granite supplier.  In additon, we decided to go with full granite backsplashes which also increased the price.  Despite these upgrades, the price for this work was still below the basic price obtained from the other companies.  In June, we hired them to do the work.<br /> The work required Andrew to come out and measure the job during which time we discussed some different options to the counter top designs.  We had a island with an overhang that didn't serve us well, so we discuss elimiting that extra countertop area to give us more space between the island and the refrigerator (good move).  Andrew measured up the job and got the information on the granite choice we had made, and we arranged a date for him to come back to do the work, with an estimation that the job would take two days.  <br /> On the scheduled date, he and his crew arrived promptly and removed the existing counter tops and installed the new granite ones on the first day.  On the second day they came out to install the backsplashes.  In order to make sure the backsplashes were cut properly to fit around the existing electrical outlets, they did some custom cutting on site so no mistakes occured.   After they were done, they sealed the granite and at that point Andrew contacted his plumbing subcontractor to come out and install the faucet and reconnect the grabage disposal.  The subcontractor came out the following morning and completed the job.  </p> Overall the job went very well.  Andrew and his crew were prompt, courteous and took care to clean up each day after they were done.  The overall effect of the new countertops and backspalshes is stunning, and we are very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and the price we paid."

"Tigele did an amazing job on replacing the tile for my bathroom and kitchen floor. I have an old house that was built in the 20s and remodeled by an owner / DIY'r in the 90s. Everyone of my home reno/repair projects comes complete with a set of tricky circumstances and surprises, and this one was no exception - uneven floors, poorly installed floor tiles, wacky plumbing and a poorly constructed new bathroom vanity. Tigele handled it all with perfection. They brought a large crew on day one and had all the demo in the full bath and kitchen completed in one day. They went above and beyond to straighten out floors, walls, electric and plumbing so that the job would be done correctly. And the tile job was phenomenal. I picked a tricky, thin porcelain tile for the bath and they made it work. Very pleased with the finished product. The work effort involved to do this right is no joke. Johann and his crew worked tirelessly to get things right. It's messy, loud and requires patience on all sides, but Johann and his team are true professionals. They do quality work, stand by their work and I will definitely work with them again."

"the finished product looks nice, but I was bothered that it took so long to fabricate. We had a large remodeling firm managing the project, and they were the ones that managed it with Old World Stone. <br /> I was disappointed the Old World Stone would not honor their Angie's List coupon for my order, because the remodeler was managing the order.. But I am the customer and I am an Angie's List member, So I feel they should have allowed me to use the coupon. <br /> The installers were very nice and did a nice job. <br />"

"Our experience with New Stone Design exceeded our expectations! We had a very specific time window for our grill island to be measured for the countertop. New Stone Design was able to accommodate our request and then alter it when the work had to be delayed by a day due to weather. And much to our surprise and delight, they came back to install the countertop only 2 days after the measurement!
