"Jason, the owner of the company sent his son to the job. In conversation with him, I found out he had been working for his father for 7 years. I must say that their previous job ran a little over due to the rain for the past few days, but they did arrive before noon as promised. Jason taught his son well. The bricks on the house were over 30 years old so were no longer available! The son stated he had some that he thought matched pretty close, and if he cut them in half, it would be about 1/4 inch differant. Clever idea and when he laid 3 of them out, if you weren't familar with the project, one would never know!! I was very impressed with not only the expertise he showed in laying the brick, but the workmanship and cleanup were all outstanding. It was a great conversation and listening to him and finding out we had a few things in common. MORA! If I need any more brick work or tuck pointint i would certainly give them a call again"

"In The Rough Stonework & Landscaping built us a beautiful greenhouse foundation that has knee-high stone walls and a cement floor. The floor has slight slope with weep holes on the low end, perfect for keeping the floor dry. They also put in a patio that wraps around the greenhouse and made it with a mix of different bricks/stones. Our greenhouse/patio is now a perfect place for gardening and lounging. On another project they made us a flag-stone patio with a stone stairway through the garden allowing easy access to our yard. In The Rough Landscaping does quality work with an eye for detail and they do it at a great price, I would highly recommend Lester Avalos and his crew."

"It went very well. Justin not only knows what to check, he also makes suggestions on repair priorities. He gave good estimates for problems found during the inspection. I like his think out loud approach. Great guy. I've learned so much when tagging alone with him during inspection! Moreover, he is very responsive and patient to my questions after the inspection. "In Spring 2012, we obtained quotes from three companies to tear out two existing retaining walls along the driveway and re-build them using Versalok, excavate and grade the backyard, and build a 3.5 - 4 foot retaining wall in the backyard using the stone from the old retaining walls. Genadek had the middle quote; they were also the only company to follow up with a phone call. The whole job took about 4 1/2 weeks. Stan, Mike, Tim,  Rob and Andrew were very professional and friendly; our neighbors even raved about them. They cleaned up the job site at the end of each day and communicated frequently so there were no surprises.
My only recommendation to those interested in hiring Genadek is to get on their schedule early. Their calendar books up fast!

"Estimator came and described the fence options.  Competitive pricing for privacy fence.  Contractors completed work per schedule.  After fence was put up cracks appeared in multiple locations and bowing of fence walls created gaps in this new privacy fence. 
Owner came over and observed situation in a few days after contact for these issues, said $100 extra for labor to remove bowed fence walls that were creating gaps.  Not sure why they include this option up front or they could have let me know they were giving me a cheaper option up front (not sure why they would even offer) and then let me know this would have been needed anyways for true quality privacy.  Repair work was done promptly.  IMO its a good price, quality experience was a bit meh, but they give 5yr warranty on parts/workmanship so they'll come back and fix it up in a prompt manner either way.

We called 4 different contractors, John from Don Green's Dirt Service was the only one that called us back. He came out within the week and gave us a quote. It took time trying to discuss with 10 people. John stopped out for a second time and gave us 3 different options as price was a concern. Once we all agreed on price/work, John and his team were able to come out the next week and complete work. A few of us watched the whole process. You could tell how efficient they were as doing this many times. Work was completed in 1 day and for quote amount. There was extra gravel used but John did not charge us any extra. The road looks great and concerns were fixed. John and his team took the time to walk us thru the project and inspect before payment. They did such a great job on this we are having them back in the spring to clear part of our land.

"We started in the spring. Greg came out to assess my falling apart garage. He tore down the old garage and replaced it. As it is an attached garage, it was quite a process. Everything went very well. There were some delays due to weather, but that is understandable. Overall, I am thrilled with my new garage and so happy that Greg was also able to redo the sidewalk and steps to my front door. The work is holding up beautifully and Greg and his crews were great to work with."
