"While the start date of getting a new roof put on slid due to weather, the G&G crew started the roof tear-off on time. They were very thorough about what needed to be repaired. I met with the project manager, Jimmy O., onsite and he explained all that needed to be done and the associated costs. The crew had the roof dried in on day 1. The shingles were delivered in the afternoon on day 2 and the crew finished installing the shingles on day 3. The roof looks great and they left the yard with very little evidence that they had been there. I would not hesitate to use G&G again. Just understand that due to the amount of work they have and wrestling with the weather, the lead time from signing the contract to job completion can be awhile (mine took about 20 weeks but as good as they are, G&G can't control the weather!). I would rather have a quality job done right and it take longer to complete than to have an interior result."

I tried 3 other roofing companies, the first was the vest man at my cousin’s wedding he came and looked at the roof and told what needed to be repaired but his company couldn’t do it because they didn’t have the insurance to work on that steep of a roof. The orher 2 companies never even got on the roof or looked ar anyythey just told me I needed a new roof even though the shingle roof that was supposed to last 20-25 years was inly 17 years old. One gave me a quote for $35000 the other for $65000 ( why the huge difference and both were going to. Replace with same shingle roof as was the original. Also neither could startt work for 30-90 days. First roof estimate came out the afternoon I called them got on the roof and did a very thorough inspection, found the problem areas and fixed them for $950 dollars after several hours of work replacing, caulking securing loose shingles, and replacing vent hoods and flashings.They excellent job!"

If a dumpster is used, consider an alternate location other than the driveway depending on the age of the concrete. Cracks will happen with all the weight of the dumpster and old roofing material. Secondly, be vigilant with the cleanup. There are large amounts of nails used in the process and many reach the ground. Stepping on a roofing nail in your flower bed can t**** the whole experience. The contractor does an OK job of picking up nails, but you as the customer should search for them as we'll. <br />"
