"Both occasions were for the same work. Areas of the house and garden were covered with tarps to prevent overspray staining the house or foliage. Company workmen used water to pressure wash the deck, cleaning off algae stain. After deck dried (over a period of a day or so), workmen returned and stained deck with aerial sprayers, spraying stain over the whole deck. <br /> The quality of work was different in both cases. <br /> First occasion on 6/5/08, the deck turn out beautiful, the complete stain completely covering the wood, so it looked new. I give it an "A" grade. <br /> Second occasion on 5/3/13, after staining, the coverage was spotty and intermittent looking, with variations in stain coverage. It looked as if the workmen didn't have enough stain to cover the deck. I give it a "C-" grade. <br /> I took pictures and uploaded them to my computer, with the intent of contacting the Deck Rescue owner (Bill Hydock), and emailing the photos. Unfortunately, my hard drive crashed, and I lost the photos. I never did contact the owner. <br /> From my personal contact with Mr. Hydock, I believe he would have tried to correct the incomplete stain coverage. <br />"

"When we first met with Tony, saw his previous work, and heard his passion for building decks, we thought he was going to be way out of our price range. He ended up being the most reasonable of all of our quotes! Tony went above and beyond our expectations tearing down, leveling our multi-layer deck to one level, adding beautiful railings and wide stairs. He paid attention to every little detail, like stair depth and routered edges. He found that our previous deck wasn’t truly level so he fixed that before rebuilding. The hand rails have doubled railings, something we never thought of but which makes it look so much nicer. We were out of town when Tony worked on the deck but he sent us pictures and kept us updated every day by texting or calling. We have gotten so many compliments and absolutely love our new, sturdy, beautiful deck. Tony was wonderful to work with, a hard worker, really passionate about what he does. Our neighbors couldn’t believe all that he did as a one-man crew."
