"They did a fine job with the work.  The pump install wasn't ideal (the pipe was exposed above the water level when it should've been below, etc), but the pond was cleaned as expected.  The trouble, as my "grade" indicates, was with the company's responsiveness.  We were on a tight time schedule (putting the house on the market) and I was grateful that Jake had time in his schedule to come out and give us an estimate and was going to be able to get the work done quickly.  Unfortunately, he missed the estimate appointment.  He had it written down on the wrong day.  That was frustrating when I was waiting in an empty house on a morning I took off work, but it happens & it's forgivable.  Jake was courteous and professional when he did arrive.  He said the estimate would be emailed that evening, but when it didn't arrive for a few days I emailed him and he then got me the estimate.  Again, forgivable, but added to the missed appointment, I almost didn't use them.  I needed the work done quickly and without a hassle.  At the estimate he'd said they could get the work done before the weekend, but then weren't able to schedule it until a few days later (because, I think, he hadn't accounted for giving the pump time to arrive).  Eventually, he did send his team (two guys who did the work while I wasn't there) & they did a fine job. <br /> I've found that "pond guys" tend to have a very relaxed attitude toward the business side of their businesses.  Jake did not prove me wrong.  In the end, they did a fine job with a task that I didn't want to do myself.   <strong>I'm happy with the work.</strong>  But if we weren't selling the house, I might keep searching for the perfect pond person -- or I might just make sure I wasn't in a rush to get things done. <br />"

"<p>I could not be more pleased with all of the services Micah and his crew have done for me.  They are as regular as clock work for the weekly grass cutting and always leave my lawn looking great. Annually they mulch the front and back flower beds and do a very comprehensive spring and fall clean-up.  I needed to have a privacy fence replaced and they quickly got me on the schedule, removed the old fence and erected a new 6' fence. </p> <p>This summer I needed to have a massive tree removed from my front yard.  Due to the size of the tree and difficulty getting machinery in for the removal my lawn took a beating in the process.  To insure my property looked great when the job was complete they replaced the front lawn with sod.</p> <p>Most recently they have been removing snow from my driveway and walks and also salting the area.  They do a terrific job.  I have it set-up that snow is removed if there are a certain number of inches and salt if necessary or a small amount of snow. In addition we have set a time by which the snow should be removed so I am always able to get out and get to work. My driveway is very long and their snow removal service is invaluable to me. </p> <p>All services I use Dean's Landscaping for are reasonably priced.  I have obtained quotes from others for the same services and Dean's Landscaping always provides a competitive price with a comprehensive description of exactly what work is to be completed.  </p> <br />"

"Jeremi of PNR Excavation provided excellent service! They removed my stone planter and retaining wall hauling away debris. I was greatly impressed. They were to start project Sunday morning and couldn't make it... but he surprised me when his brother came Saturday afternoon to complete task. Wow! I've had several contractors fail to keep appointments. Jeremi is an honest man who kept his word! That speaks volumes of his character and being a man of his word. I highly recommend PNR Excavation, and will contact them to install front concrete sidewalk from porch to street. You cannot go wrong with PNR Excavation. "It went well. It did take a long time to get a permit, but once that happened they pretty much completed the job quick. I would say that I was disappointed that they did not take any consideration of my flowers which were completely destroyed. However, the craftmanship and skill in their work was very nice, and we are happy with the end result."

"Called about having railings installed. They asked if I could email in pictures to expedite process. I did so and within 24 hours Josh contacted me to set up an appointment for an estimate. I selected the railings we wanted and Josh said it would take 2-3 weeks. Within 2 weeks he called with the railing were ready. Josh and another fellow came out as agreed on Sat morning and installed the railings in an hour. We are very pleased with the finished product. <br />"
