He then told me my water heater didn't work (it did and does), and he doesn't fix water heaters, and left with 1400 dollars cash. He refused to give me his license number or insurance number and demanded cash or Zelle (which is cash) only. 50% before he would start, which is not the usual agreement with contractors.
