It was my first time using home advisor so he took advantage of me not knowing the process. I would not use his service again. It is difficult to do this again but I have posted new projects and read more about the process. He followed none of these steps. I did not get a written contract and he asked for his 50% up front and 50% at conclusion. He asked for the 50 percent conclusion while stating that he would return to sand the area (if needed). I am left with a muddled wall and carpet that I will now have to pay someone else to complete. I am extremely disappointed. I shared this with him via email but have not seen nor heard from him."
