"Unfortunately all too often these days contractors say they guarantee their work, but they really don't.  Not Springfield Roofing and Siding.  We had Mike Bennett.  Last October we had a roof leak and had several companies come out to give us estimates.  Only a couple were honest and really went up to inspect the roof and give us their assessment.  Most of the other companies immediately said "new roof!"  But Mike took the time to explain the issue and suggest a repair.  And he and his team did it.  Well fast forward to July and we had some bad storms and some high wind that effected the roof, and we ended up with another leak.  Called Mike out to take a look, he saw that the storms did some damage to an area close by the original leak and went up and fixed it and also addressed some shingles around our chimney.  Did it that day, got it all done.  And here's the kicker - NO CHARGE!  Just fixed up and said we were all set.  We know one day our roof will need to be replaced (its well over 20 years old) and the first person we will call is Mike Bennett - because he's honest, reliable, does good work and he keeps his word!

"After years of unsuccessfully addressing water damage around windows in an upstairs room by focusing on the window frames and the brickwork around the windows, I asked W. E. Griffin Roofing (whom I had used previously for relatively minor roofing repairs) to evaluate whether the roof was a factor. Matt Hoffman determined that significant work had to be done including substantially rebuilding two dormers, removing and replacing valleys and flashing, and replacing the roof on the dormers. As in the case of previous and subsequent jobs, Griffin's work crew was very professional and conscientious at all times. They cleared all rubble and tools from the site every day, and the job was started and completed on schedule. In the 4 years since this work was done and the interior water damage repaired, there has been no further sign of water damage in that room. I completely trust the advice I have received from Matt Hoffman over the past 7 years since I first used W. E. Griffin. In addition to the work described above as well as routine preventive maintenance, I have also engaged the company to repair gutters, replace incorrectly installed snow guards, replace failed chimney flashing, fabricate and install catch boxes to prevent leaf blockage of downspouts, as well as routine preventive maintenance. "Two weeks after moving into a new home, we discovered, after a heavy rain, that we had a leak in an older flat roof over a bedroom. Tom was extremely responsive and helpful, and even though they don't do roofing repairs (only full replacements), Tom sent his foreman over to patch our roof as an emergency short-term fix while we looked into options for having the old roof replaced with a TPC membrane. "Everyone I worked with was prompt and professional. The sales pitch was a bit long winded, I could have gone without all the company accolades, but they did explain a few things I was not aware of with my existing roof. They did a follow up visit to make sure the estimate provided by the salesman was correct which was nice... no unexpected charges last minute. Materials were delivered the day before and the installers started right on time the following morning. Everyone was polite and courteous. The Project manager stopped in to make sure everything was being done to satisfaction and they even hauled away some old shingles from the previous owners. So far, everything looks really great.
