He was able to find era-appropriate flooring for the porch. He also installed much safer handrails on the steps up from the street to the porch and corrected the unsafe side entry by installing a sturdy platform and step. "Called on Wednesday 08/17/20 talked with owner Mr. Kamienski. He explained what had to be done and gave me his price over the phone. Said he could come out to do the repairs on Saturday 08/20/20 and was there right on time (actually he was early). When he and his wife arrived they both got right to work. He explained why and what he was doing as they worked. Came prepared to do the job and worked steady until it was completed. Also they were very through in their cleanup. They work very well as a team , each knowing they role in the process. We have had a few heavy rains since the repairs and have had no issues with water leakage. I would not hesitate to hire them again."

"Overall we were pleased with Blanket Insulation.  Our calls were returned promptly and the estimate meeting was scheduled
within a few days.  Additionally, even though the work would take place after a discount promotion for Angie's List members would end, the discount was still honored.  The estimate stated insulation was to be inserted by removing individual rows of siding, drilling subwall, and reinstalling the siding.  We were expected to be home but told most of the work would be completed from the outside.
Unfortunately, we were told the insulation couldn't be done as stated.  This was due to the home exterior possibly containing asbestos.  We were told the work could still be done but needed to be done inside the home or could be rescheduled.  We were not prepared to have workers in our home but we could not afford to take another day off work.  We chose to have the work done  and "hid" in the basement with our animals, trying to keep them calm.  We didn't have access to the kitchen and appliances, so we had to get carry out food for the day.  All of this was very inconvenient and seems as if it could have been avoided with a more thorough estimate inspection.       
 
The work was completed that day and we have definitely been able to tell a difference.  Our heating and cooling bills have decreased, as has the draft we often felt.  All of the employees we had interactions with from Blanket Insulation were polite and professional.

"Danny repaired some rotted wood I had from some water damage and also repaired my drip edge that had pulled away from my roof and retarred a couple of area for me - also wrapped a few post I had in aluminum - I would actually give these guys a B+ - they take pride in what they do and want to make the customer happy - I changed things up a little bit and he was happy to accommodate my request - willing to work with the customer - these guys work hard and want to do it right - if you're a real picky person that likes things done a certain way this guy might not be for you but if you want some good solid work then this is the guy for you - I will be having these guys do more work for me and would recommend them to neighbors"
