"Tony and Jay were great. We had water backing up into our home the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Despite it being a weekend, they answered the phone on the first ring, and they were at our home within two hours. They diagnosed the problem quickly and had the main line cleaned out. They also replaced a flange on a toilet in the basement and got that re-sealed. They kept us in the loop as they were working, and they made sure everything was cleaned up when they left. This was our first time using Bair Mechanical, and we selected them based on their positive Angie's List reviews, so we are happy to add to their list of great reviews."

"Otto was amazing. So happy I FINALLY found a plumber I trust who is so skilled and doesn’t take advantage of his customers. I called right after 8am and he returned my call probably within the hour. I never expected such a quick response but he said he was able to be there by 11:30. Immediately took his shoes off (he didn’t have to) but did, every time he entered. Was kind to my blind dog, my husband LOVED him. Hubby asked to set up another appt. to do more work on a faulty bath faucet. He offered to do it then to save paying for another service call. I honestly could have kept him there all day fixing stuff for me. Have already talked to him about work in the spring. Wonderful, knowledgeable, hard working, affordable. I look for small business owners and as far as plumbers go, I’ve found mine."

"I called about 8:30 am and the repairman arrived about 12:30 pm. He determined that in the toilet that was continuously emptying the chamber the flush chain had come off the handle. He put it back together and it was working fine. In the toilet that was making a whistling noise every time it was flushed, the determined that the fill valve was bad, so he installed a new fill valve and it is now working fine without the noise. A plumber that we had called about eight years ago, thought we would have to open the wall to get to the pipe to stop the noise."

"The NICEST people I have ever met and dealt with, from when I spoke with them on the phone from the beginning to when Jon and his crew came to my house. I was able to ask any question and get thoughtful and truthful answers. Very reasonable pricing and they got the job done fast. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for for a Septic job. I won’t be calling any other company from here on out. Just a great company."

"Do not call this company! Call your local municipality first. My 75 year old mother-in-law had a basement floor drain back up late the night of June 20. Called Mr. Rooter and they came the next morning. They charged 270 dollars to clean from the house to the sewer. The town and the county will do this for free. Then because this did not solve the problem they "snaked" inside the house using a spear head and partially cleared up the problem. They claimed that there was a calcium blockage that could not be cleared and quoted a price of about $3,700.00 to jackhammer and replace a pipe in the house. They never tried a different cutter on the snake. While snaking, they left a huge smelly flooded mess in the basement. Did not try to clean it. The next day the floor drain backed up again. Long story short, after talking to neighbors, we called the county and they came and cleaned from the house to the street using better equipment than Mr. Rooter did. Then we called a reputable plumber who snaked the inside of the house with the proper tools. The calcium blockage was actually grease that was easily cleared with a cutter head on the snake. Each person we spoke with were surprised that Mr. Rooter did not try to use a cutter on the end of the snake. They were not surprised that Mr. Rooter was looking to dig up the basement and replace a pipe to the tune of 3,700 dollars. Apparently they have a reputation. We also tried to contact Mr. Rooter with our concerns and were told a supervisor would call us. After making several calls, we were finally connected to a supervisor 13 days after our first attempt to speak to someone. He ended up telling us we had to talk to his boss. Still waiting to hear from him. I guess they are going to drag it out past the 30 day satisfaction guarantee. I don't exactly know that their 30 day satisfaction guarantee is, but we are not satisfied with them."
