"Above all else always look for a great roofer. Richard and his team are great roofers. In order to complete his estimate, Richard and I went up on my roof together. Richard pointed out his observations of wear and tear. Richard asked me what I wanted to do with an existing ridge vent type, metal chimney flue stack and older unused whole house fan exhaust vent. Richard educated me on the evolution of roofing products since he began working on roofs 40 years ago and the roofing material warranty process. It was clear to me Richard takes pride in his workmanship, carefully listens to his customers desires and wanted to completely satisfy the customer (me). This included my selection of an exact shingle color I was interested in, even though it may have been from a manufacturer he normally does not work with. My old roofing shingles were stripped and replaced. An old whole house fan roof vent was removed and the opening closed up. A new bathroom exhaust vent was installed. A upper section of furnace flue stack above the roof line was replaced. Richard's team has a process from beginning to end that is fast, efficient, thorough, clean and customer friendly. Large plastic tarps were hung from the roof and used to catch the old roofing shingles that were removed. My gutters were cleaned out and a large magnet was used to pick up any old roofing nails in my driveway. All completed in one single day. Your number one priority should be to seek out a great roofer. I highly recommend Richard and his team of great roofers to work on your roofing project."

"The B & R team was a pleasure to work with through the whole process, from quote to paying after the job was done. We had heard water dripping onto a ceiling on our second floor during a heavy storm, and called several roofers for quotes. Five different companies came out, two of which wanted to replace the whole roof, and three that said it should just be repaired. During that process, several of the companies mentioned that our chimney needed repointing as well, so we added that to the job. Robert Jr. came out for B & R on a Monday after I had spoken with them on a Friday, and I had detailed quotes in my email that night for the work. They were quick to respond to questions by email, text, and phone. Once I got them the signed contract, they were in touch within the week to get the work scheduled, and had their mason and roofing team on site two weeks after I had gotten them the contract. A day and a half later, I had a beautifully repointed chimney with a cap, rotted wood around the base of the chimney replaced, perfect flashing, and a roof that no longer leaks at all. The team kept me informed throughout the process, letting me know about any issues they encountered and keeping me posted on their timelines. After they were done, they cleaned up the site completely (and even cleaned up the leaves and sticks that were in the driveway from a recent storm). The final price came in just slightly over the original quote because they had to replace more wood than they were originally expecting around the base of the chimney - it took more materials and more time than what was covered under the original estimate, but only cost a little more than the quote. All in all a great process, and I'd highly recommend Robert Jr. and the team at B & R for any roofing or chimney related work that you need."

"The experience was very stressful. The siding crew was very rough on our 1774 home. They damaged portions of the trim, a window, and the metal roof. I had to constantly monitor the crew to make sure they minimized damage and completed the work correctly. It was difficult communicating with the Spanish-speaking crew. Materials are in my yard that still have not been picked up 2 weeks later. The finished siding looks good, but that is the best complement I can make. I had doors replaced by Power on a previous job and was very satisfied. I would be cautious recommending Power for siding replacement on a similar old house."
