"I have been very impressed with Tampa Bay Plumbing from my first call. I called to ask if they could repair / replace a bad washing machine drain pipe and they jumped on it! I didn't want to overpay for a job I thought was pretty small in the grand scheme of things. 2 other plumbing companies quoted my seemingly ridiculously high prices over the phone. I called TB Plumbing and the rep said I could text photos of the issue and he'd have a plumber call me with an estimate. They were prompt in their response and quoted me a very reasonable price. I scheduled the job and plumber, Aaron, was there the next business day. He was on time, personable, and professional. He got the job done quickly, and it looks great! "On 5/29/25 Tristin came to my house and gave me a quote on a new shower remodel with a new toilet, and we signed the contract. I thought $12,000 plus was exorbitant, but Tristin assured me that Long Home uses quality materials, excellent craftsmanship, and excellent service. He told me that they will replace all the pipes, and the shower and toilet will have lifetime warranties. So, I agreed and gave him half down and it was scheduled for the 6/27/25 and 6/28/25. Tristian called me on the 6/5/25 and told me that for the shower I choose the half wall that was part of my existing shower would have to be removed, he said otherwise I would have to pay an additional $1,500+, because the shower I agreed to couldn’t be installed otherwise. I told Tristin on 5/29/25 that I did not want the wall removed, but after talking to Tristin on the 5th I relented and said the wall could be removed and ordered another toilet for my other bathroom. The day of the installation came, and one guy came on time and the actual plumber came about 2 hours late around noon. They started working on the demolition and Tristin came around 4pm to move the power socket that was in the wall they removed. He put a rough patch on the wall and installed the outlet without the cover. They removed my cabinet from the wall so they could take down the wall but never replaced it. They worked until 10 pm on Friday. Tristin was supposed to come out on Saturday to finish the patch and put the cover on the outlet. Saturday 6/28/25 the helper arrived at 830 am and the plumber arrived at 1030, at 450 pm the plumber showed me the shower rod they sent with my shower, and it was too short. He told me to call Tristin, I did, and he said OK Tristin never showed up and the two guys finished at 945 pm without putting the cabinet back up. I checked the toilet in the bathroom where the shower was installed, and it kept running after I flushed it, and I put a toilet cleaning tab in the other one and noticed the toilet lid does not fit right. I texted Tristin on Sunday morning telling him about both toilets and he texted me back on that Monday and said he could come at 4pm. I work nights and did not get up until around 5pm and I texted him and told him that I do not usually get up until 6pm during the week when I work and he never messaged me back. I sent Tristin another text on Saturday 7/5/25 telling him to ask him when he could come out and fix the problems I have. I have not heard back as of yet. Long Home charges a premium price and Tristin told me that I would get premium service, he said this is why they charge so much, but the experience I’ve had is anything but premium, I paid $12,000 and I only have one toilet that works correctly even though the lid doesn’t fit properly, I had to buy a shower rod so I could use my shower, since the one I bought from them didn’t fit, which makes no sense because they knew the dimensions of the shower. I had to have a wall removed that I did not really want removed, because they made a mistake when I signed the contract. I have the outlet in my bathroom wired without a cover, my wall is not finished, and my cabinet is still sitting in my bedroom. I do not mind spending the money for something, but I want the product and the service to be worth the price, I paid for professionals, but this is not the problems you are supposed to have with professionals."

"From bad to worse. The day after they primed the pump, I went to use the pump & there was no water. The priming had failed. I made several attempts to contact Pruitt via email, Facebook & leaving phone messages. The one time a phone call actually got thru to him, he told me he'd call back in 10 minutes as he was on the road. I'm still waiting for a call back. This is the worse I've been treated by any business . Astonished to see they did not guarantee their work when procedure failed. Sad thing is, up until now, I thought very highly of this business & their professionalism & the owner. But when a company refuses to guarantee their work and refuses to respond to an unsatisfied customer complaint, something has gone terribly wrong with the business and or owner."

"When I called, they answered right away and when I explained the problem, I was told that they would be at my house between 12 - 1 pm. They were at the house before 12:30, and fixed the problem right away (the water tank bladder had broken). Now we have a bigger perfectly working tank - and our water pressure is better than it's ever been (I have a feeling the bladder had damage to it when we moved in, because the pressure was never good). The only problem is that when the phone was answered, I heard a voice say it was an Angie's list customer. However, we didn't get the 5% discount. Although, I did not print out the coupon and forgot to tell my husband about it. Either way, their service was prompt and well done. Thank you!"

"My review has not appeared on the Performance Air primary site which consists of positive reviews, so I'll try to replicate here. I've also contacted the BBB. Company ads indicate "service 24/7" which is misleading. Yes, you can speak w/ someone at the company, but they can't or won't send a tech 24/7. Our a/c went out Sat evening, 9/16, and they said someone would be out Tues, 9/20. When I said that won't work they scheduled us for the next day, Sunday, between 10a and 2p. Needless to say they didn't show. I called dispatch to see when someone would arrive and was told the tech was delayed on another job. Finally about 5:30p I was told "you're not on the schedule." A wasted day in the heat when I could have called someone else. Our Trane unit (bought from Performance) is less than 8 years old and is maintained only by Performance Air via a service contract. The company is eager for us to replace the unit. When Trane and other brands are properly maintained they typically last much longer than 8 years. The company overcharges on parts, which I've called them out on and had the price reduced (check the records if they'll let you...you have our permission.) Hughes Gulfport FL"

"I engaged Cornerstone Plumbing for a kitchen plumbing project totaling $2,400, which was to include the installation of a sink, faucet, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and related plumbing work. While the sink was installed as scheduled, the remaining scope of work was not completed, despite multiple confirmed appointments. Several scheduled visits were missed without notice, and no proactive communication was provided. I attempted numerous follow-ups via phone and voicemail, but received no consistent or timely response. Ultimately, due to the lack of progress and communication, I hired a licensed plumber who completed the work for $1,807. When I contacted Cornerstone Plumbing to discuss a partial refund based on the uncompleted services, the conversation with management was brief and unproductive. Shortly after I submitted a one-star review on Google, I received an email from the company's office manager referencing unrelated reviews I had written about other businesses, along with a warning about potential legal consequences for posting public feedback. I found this response both inappropriate and concerning, particularly given the unresolved nature of the issue. Based on this experience, I would advise others to exercise caution when considering this company."
