We pride ourselves on our clear and concise communication. We want to ensure we provide you a quick, quality service on time and on budget. We joined this business because we were tired of calling ten contractors to only get two to come out and bid. Then having to wait another 2-3 weeks to even get the bid before even scheduling service. Waiting around for weeks then just to have the project delayed and go way over the estimates didn’t feel right. We are provide our clients the pricing quickly and transparently either on our website or right on a 15min consultation video call. We do everything to plan for issues that could arise on a job before they happen and, we inform our customers before the job begins if any changes would be expected. "Tomas restored my oak floors in my living room and hallway in June 2024. All I can say is that he did an amazing job on restoring my living room floors that were badly damaged and worn from my handicapped spouse's wheelchair. The finish was completely removed in many areas and we had some water damage that I thought for sure couldn't be restored. But he did it. He quoted 3 days and was finished in 3 days. My floors are absolutely beautiful. I never thought it possible. The only thing I would mention here, is about the finish after restoration. If you want a high shine on your floors, do not choose a satin finish as it has no gloss at all. I can live with the finish but next time I have them refinished, I will remember to choose a gloss finish. Still, I love my floors. Thank you Tomas for a job well done!"

"Taber Ross of 1st Affordable Handyman was contracted to install marble mosaic tile on 2 fireplace surrounds. He installed one product backwards with the plastic facing [used to hold the tile pattern together] directly on wet mortar. When questioned, he insisted it was correct, that he was the expert, and that the visible mesh and saw marks could be removed with a wet cloth. He refused to replace the cut and now useless tile, and wanted more money to fix the job. When we said no to those terms, he grew angry, called us scammers, and left while telling us that we had to pay the remaining 50% balance plus a 10% per day penalty. Neither fireplace surround was finished. Photos are a picture from the tile brochure showing how the polished side of the tile should look when installed properly. Three pictures of the 1st Affordable Handyman/Ross installation show the unpolished, saw-scarred, and mesh-backed tiles facing forward."
