"Sometime in November 2013, unbeknownst to me, a water pipe leak occurred under the foundation of my house. It was only brought to my attention when I got a huge sewer and water bill totaling almost $1000 in late December. I called Greenwell Plumbing and they came out within a few days to look at the problem. They apologized for me having to wait a few days, but this was when this area was experiencing very cold temperatures and pipes were freezing and bursting and the plumbing companies were swamped with people calling about flooding homes. I understood this completely. When they came to the house they spent quite some time trying to locate the leak and finally suggested that I call the American Leak Detection Company.which I did. For anyone who has an underground (under the foundation) leak, this company is a Godsend. This company came the very next day and Greenwell was here to meet them. Within 20 minutes of being in the house, the leak detection company had located the leak in the kitchen. Greenwell immediately started jack hammering through the ceramic tile floor and into the foundation. We soon heard the gushing of the water from the leak. This was quite a large leak as my December water bill had said that I had used over 50,000 gallons of water in one month!!! After fixing the leak by replacing the pipe, and then pouring concrete into the hole to fill it up, they cleaned up the mess and left. Throughout the entire process they answered any questions I had and apologized for having to mess up my kitchen floor, which I had just had installed a few months before. The plumbers were friendly, polite and professional. I have recommended them to several people and would call them again with any future problems.

"She was contracted by The Plumbing Company to do this job, and she was great. She got here quickly (it's our only toilet) and got right to work. It took a while to clear out the blockage, and she thought there was still probably something out of her reach that might be causing the problem. She recommended that we check further down the line to get a permanent fix. Since this service call, we have had no further problems, but we hope to have that additional work done soon.

"Really excellent company to work with. They performed a big project for us last year replacing several feet of our exterior sewer line and installing a new HVAC unit. They had to put the HVAC unit on top of ground that had been previously completely dug up for the sewer line. A year later the HVAC unit had started to sink in on an angle. I messaged them about it and within a couple days they were here and lifted the unit back up and put rock underneath to keep it from sinking again. Really appreciated their quick response and the effort to help with that. It wasn't their fault erosion happened, but they clearly take pride in their work. Much appreciated! Can't recommend this company highly enough."

"They were called by our general contractor to do 2 plumbing fixes on our job, reattach our fixed master shower drain and replaced a small section of leaking PVC pipe. They were done in 20 minutes and said they were paid for an hour by the contractor and asked if we had any other issues.  I grabbed the kitchen sink drain we had bought 6 months ago and he put that it (which turned into a bit of a fight), then he attached a new stopper in our master bath sink, and diagnosed our guest bath sink's drain and told me what needed to be replaced and how (which I then did).  None of which we'd expected.
These extra things were at no extra labor charge since it was mostly done in an hour and we had the pieces to put in, just a few dollars for the PVC pipe.  Did a great job, were friendly, and kind to ask if there was anything else since they were paid for the time really appreciated them...far more than the general contractor who was a nightmare.

"The two reps from Crystal Clear - Mr. Kimes, and I'm sorry I didn't obtain the second gentleman's name, were very polite, patient in explaining what needed to be done and what had occurred, and were very conscious of minimizing the mess made within the house. They arrived at about 1130am. The job was finished about 430pm. They fully explained to me what to do after 24 hours to remove the chlorine smell from the water. The repairs were done 4 days ago. Everything appears to be working smoothly since their departure. Two pieces of curious activity: 1. They arrived in a large sedan with a full trunk and almost full back seat (the company truck was awaiting mechanic work by Mr Kimes at the end of the day). 2. When payment was rendered, at the request of Mr. Kimes, the owner I was asked to make the check out to him directly instead of the the company name. He provided identification without hesitation. Both were very cordial and understanding; I'd call them again."

"This was an Angie's List Big Deal.  First, I purchased this Big Deal approximately 1 year ago but, due to personal reasons, could not use the deal.  MRC roofing was very generous and understanding, allowing me to use the Big Deal well past the expiration date.  This alone would result in an outstanding review but this company continued excellent customer service.  The painter, Shane, contacted me and arranged a meeting at my house to review the project.  Shane was very thorough in the initial meeting, telling me what to expect.  The big deal did not cover all the cost of the job (as I expected) so, Shane provided an estimate which was fair, for the rest of the work.  Shane provided color samples and after selecting a color scheme, work started within a few days.  Shane kept me informed every step of the way and provided suggestions as he went.  For example, the sealing around the garage door needed replacing and there was rot on one of my porch columns.  Shane provided an estimate and fixed these as he painted.  The house came out great!  Primer was applied then the main coat.  Shane's attention to detail is excellent.  Very professional job.  Shane and his assistant were excited about the finished product and very proud of their work.  I would use Shane and MRC Roofing for future projects.
