They just did not do a very good job of cleaning my house. They need to do a better job. They did dry dusting and left a thin film of dust everywhere because they did not damp dust. All I wanted them to do is deep clean the house until I got there. They would not touch the appliances, they left dust on the shelves and they left cobwebs in the corners of the windows. They just did a terrible job.

"Randy Hargrove came out (on time) and gave me an estimate and went over samples of siding. He explained the process and about how long it would take and when they could start the work. His crew came out on time everyday and explained what the plan was for each day and worked diligently and professionally every day. The work was done meticulously. Randy inspected the work several times during this time with myself and the crew. The crew was friendly and respectful in all ways.

"We called Robert Carrillo who was recommended to us to have our roof replaced with a metal roof. After talking to Robert we checked with him on a 10' X 24' patio cover before having the roof replaced to save time and perhaps save money by having everything done at one time. The price was very reasonable and we gave him the go-ahead on the patio cover and roofing. We went down to Metal Mart and paid for the metal and while the metal was being cut and shipped to Belton, Robert had his crew come in and build the patio cover. As soon as the metal was shipped, Robert picked it up began the installation of the roof. We had two sheets of plywood (4'X8') that needed replaced and Robert's crew replaced the plywood, removed the shingles and hauled all old roofing away.The roof on the house and shop (12'X24) roofs look so nice that Robert would gladly our house to show you one of the homes he has repaired. His workmanship is a credit to the neightborhood."

Michael was able to come out to provide an estimate within two days of contacting him, and I was satisfied with the initial bid and chose him over Bauer because he is a US Army veteran; since I am on Active Duty, I was happy to bring my business to a vet.  Michael and his crew were able to come out the following week to begin painting, and his crew took their time, were very thorough, and cleaned up after themselves.  During the several days Michael and his crew were painting my home, I felt completely comfortable with his crew, with his professionalism and skill-sets.  On multiple occasions I was unable to be present during the time they were painting and felt comfortable enough to allow he and his crew access to my home to utilize my restrooms, to keep lunches in the fridge, and generally clean up when they were done for the day.  During this time, I had no issues whatsoever with the manner my home was being used to complete their work, and his crew were respectful and thorough when cleaning up after themselves.  Michael came back the day after the job was complete to do a full 360 walkaround of the home to inspect for any missed spots or places that needed touching up.  Michael and his crew cleaned the exterior of my home with a pressure washer prior to getting started, then came back the next day and filled in any gaps, nail-holes, and cracks with caulk prior to starting.  They applied painters tape around the entire perimeter of the home in any place where what they were going to paint merged with brick or window or materials not to be painted.  I thoroughly inspected their work each day and was satisfied each day as the project progressed.  Michael pointed out damaged soffit materials prior to replacing them to get my approval to repair, and in the end, even though there was additional work and repairs done to the soffit, he did not raise the price of the original bid when it came time to pay for services.  Michael also pointed out that I had some hail damage on my roof and when the USAA adjusters came out, he pointed out the locations of the damage to the adjusters.  In the end, there was enough damage to my roof to warrant replacing it.  Were it not for his willingness to point out what he observed, I would not have known there was damage on my roof from recent hailstorms.

At the conclusion to the painting job, Michael ensured that I was completely satisfied with the services performed and even provided me with the remainder of the paint in the event of future touchups.

Once he was certain I was satisfied, we concluded our business with final payment for services rendered.

I am beyond pleased with having decided to use Exteriors of Texas, and will gladly use their services again if the opportunity presents itself...like maybe for replacing my roof when the insurance settles.

Michael and his crew were friendly and cordial the entire time.  I thoroughly enjoyed having his crew paint our home.

"The deck building went well I think. It took 2 days for Blake and his work partner to complete the deck. They worked pretty fast; came in the morning and worked until about 4:30 or so. I liked the building materials that they used; seem to be very good quality. I did misunderstand however, how the steps would be finished, as Blake said he had quoted me a basic deck model which would not include a board on the front of each step, but the steps would rather remain open. I said that I had not understood that he was only quoting me a basic model, and I did want the steps to look more finished. So Blake got right on it and said that he would add boards to the front of each step, and he was not going to charge me for the labor; only the materials. I insisted on paying him something for the labor however, since he completed the steps the way that I wanted them later that same day. The end result is that I am very happy with my deck. Blake worked very hard to earn my business and was willing to match a little lower quote that I had received from another company. He actually called me a number of times before I decided to go with Maxey Construction, in an effort to earn my business. I would definitely use his company again for some future projects that I have inside of my home."
