"They were easy to communicate with and made our driveway better than I could have ever expected. They cleaned up and were very professional. All of the workers were polite and moved planters and other items out of the way. They even moved rocks to an area that I wanted filled up. Overall, I was shocked at how fast the job was completed. I would recommend Paving Pros to everyone."

"Structural engineer (not CFS) was great, met me and the crew there first day. The crew lead tried to change the engineer's plans. Fortunately, that didn't happen. On 1st day, engineer made it clear that photos of the exposed repair were required prior to covering back up with dirt. That didn't happen until I reminded crew lead, who had some excuse about his phone battery. And they had to dig it back up. Debris cleanup was only done after I said something. Straw wasn't put down as they didn't bring any, and I lost energy to make that happen. In short, be prepared to baby sit."

"Work was awesome!! He installed a new tub in my bathroom, painted, put tile in my bathroom and expanded my closet with new shelving. Everyone loves my new bathroom and closet. I love that he pays attention to details and care about his work while getting the job done in great timing. I have referred him to all family and friends and is currently planning on using him to do more work in our home."

"Warmzone has been very responsive. However, the installers made mistakes installing the system and when they went to correct it, somehow caused damage that made the system inoperable. They had to come back a year later and redo it. Now it works pretty good. Every time I've had questions Warmzone has been very responsive. i would use them again--but use their recommended installers and not my contractors who did it last time. <br /> One caveat: The system doesn't always work perfectly in very cold weather with fast accumulating snow. We have old-fashioned clay brick pavers. Next time I'll send Warmzone a sample of the pavers so that they can test for the power needed to operate the system effectively. <br /> But--they sell a great product and they're very helpful to deal with. They'll get right on the phone with you and troubleshoot, even long after the sale. <br />"

"These folks are extremely professional and ready to serve you. They make you feel like you are the most important thing with them. They ripped up our old driveway with minimum mess and inconvenience. Workers were very considerate of our property and us. They worked with us on improvements in design and looks of our new driveway versus the old one. We had a couple of days delay because of weather and had to leave town on the day they poured our new driveway. They sent us pictures of the new driveway and we could not have been happier, except when we got back in town and saw the actual finished product, it was outstanding. <br>I cannot say enough about David Patterson with Diamond Constructors, and Mike Henley of Henley Concrete, they gave us a fantastic driveway at a very reasonable price."

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Clinton, NC

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
