"Roldo came by, assessed the project and provided us with a plan and a quote. He answered all our questions and explained to us how he would complete the project. Shortly after notifying Roldo that MXJ had been selected for the project, he and his assistant arrived as scheduled, started and completed the project as planned and as budgeted. What we have now is probably the most elegant looking porcelain tile sunroom floor in the community. We would highly recommend and yes we would use again. Thomas & Martrena"

"Extraordinary professionalism and service. We have remodeled numerous homes in numerous states and have yet to find a business as accommodating and professional as Brewer’s. Our home required repairing sheet rock, painting of ceilings and walls, hanging lighting fixtures and repairing previous poor workmanship. We (wife ?) changes the colors in our dining area three times, and Shelton, James and crew were accommodating and gracious. Very highly recommend Brewer’s and we will be happy to use them again."

"We had used USA Flooring to replace all of the carpet in our home 4 years ago when we first moved in and since needed to replace the carpet again in the bonus room area due to pet issues.   4 years ago we really liked working with both the sales people and the crew.  For this project, Mitchell was great to work with, great attitude, easy to get a hold of, all around awesome person.  He is the only reason why there isn't a worse Rating in each of the areas.   The crew that came out to do the installation was on time and I showed them where we had issues with the pets.  The quote included replacing the padding, carpet, tack strips plus a new coat of Kilz.   The person in charge of the crew started to tell me that the tack strips didn't need to be replaced and there was already Kilz down but I said that's what we were quoted and what we expected.   The crew then got to work.   When they were done I inspected the work and noticed white paint on our hardwood stairs which was the Kilz and got the crew to come back in to clean. The person in charge was annoyed but came back and cleaned.   While going through our upstairs hallway I noticed carpet fibers and some trash in our daughter's doorway (down the hall from the bonus room) and then noticed damage to our drywall.  I told the person in charge and he started to argue saying they did not go down the hallway but came up to look.  He saw the amount of carpet fiber and freshly scratched walls and tried to buff out the black marks.   I then saw more chipped drywall on the corner and his response was "well what do you want us to do", "this is what happens when you move furniture".   I said I would work it out with Mitch and they left immediately.  Later in the evening we found deep gashes in our hardwood floors and more damage to a doorway.  The doorway looked like they had tried to jam a piece of furniture through over and over.  Right now we're in the process of trying to remedy the paint and the floor damage and I think Mitchell will help us and I will post an update when we've resolved the damage issues.  Overall, I'm really bummed because we had such a great experience 4 years ago but due to the attitude and lack of care of the installation crew I would not use them again.  The carpet install looks fine so clearly they're good at that but the mistreatment of our home was very clear. <br />"

"I was skeptical at first not finding any reviews on Angie's list  on Final Touch Powder Coating, but I can say that my experience with them was superb. I went in this morning and told them what I wanted done, they told me it would be a couple of days to do, I said ok and expected to get a call within a couple of days but they called in the afternoon to tell me that my muffler and pipes were done. Wow that was a quick turn around. Then I wandered because it was done so quickly that the job would be mediocre, I was wrong. I can tell you that the professionalism and outstanding customer service is what keeps customers coming back. I highly recommend them for powder coating from cars parts to motorcycle parts and anything else. Thanks Rodger <br />"

"This is a long story so I'll be brief and just give you the highlights. 1. An underground spring combined with a hill and violations of building codes was allowing water to enter my home causing the damage to drywall, mold and a host of other problems none of which are good for my sanity or the health of the kids. 2. Received lots of quotes from the, "I can fix that problem with a can of flex seal and a dehumidifier" up to and including an estimate for $100,000+ to essentially put an underground private drainage system around my house. That dude got shown the door pretty quick, but he did drive a fancy truck.... 3. Talked to Ben about the problem while he was here doing a woodworking project (his bread and butter and trust me on that he is THE MAN.) Ben was familiar with the issue because it is super common from where he grew up and he knew exactly what to do. 4. Ben gives me a start date and work begins. The front yard gets torn up, the work is done and then Ben and crew grade everything out and get it looking pretty. Just in time too. Because Hurricane Matthew comes through 3 weeks after they finish. While the front yard ended up washed into the backyard the inside of my home stayed dry. If we hadn't paid for the job, if Ben hadn't done it correctly, if Ben wasn't on top of each detail we would have suffered massive amounts of flooding and most likely our home would have been uninhabitable for some time. 5. Like I posted in 4 above the new grass seedlings and topsoil got washed away. That happens when you get 20 inches of rain in 6 hours. What doesn't usually happen is for your contractor to call you up to ask how things went and then for him to come over to help you repair an act of God when he himself still didn't have power at his own home. Yep, Ben's area of the county was hit harder than mine. I come home from work to find that on his own time (and at his expense which he didn't have to do) he came over and put down more topsoil and seed to replace that which had been washed away. Again, he didn't have power and he had standing water around his home and he was worrying about mine. So here it is two years later. I am leaving this review because I just joined Angie's List for a totally unrelated reason and saw that American Woodworkery didn't have a review under this type of service. Yes, its a long review but I think if someone goes to the lengths that Ben and his crew do to perform a professional service it is important for me, the consumer, to be as forthright and honest with others out there who may be in need of his services. The attached photos depict during the work and one year after the work was completed."

FAQs for concrete floor coating apply projects in Clinton, NC

Epoxy flooring is a two-part coating made from synthetic resins and a hardener that bonds to concrete to create a continuous, durable surface. Once cured, the coating resists impacts, moisture, and most household chemicals, making it a practical choice for garages, basements, and workshops. It also creates a uniform, easy-to-clean finish that looks more polished than bare concrete without requiring ongoing waxes or sealers.

With proper care and maintenance, solvent-based and solid residential epoxy flooring can last 10 to 20 years, while water-based epoxy flooring lasts three to five years. Water-based epoxy is less durable, making it more susceptible to regular wear and tear. Commercial epoxy concrete flooring that experiences heavy foot traffic may only last two to three years.

Maintaining epoxy garage floors is relatively easy. You can sweep up dirt and debris with a broom, dustpan, or vacuum cleaner, then use a mild cleaning solution intended for epoxy floors to scrub away stains. Avoid using soap-based or chemical cleaners. Mopping an epoxy garage floor regularly with warm water can do the trick.
