The compromised part of the chimney was protected with a tarpaulin which was attached so securely that it remained in place during this winter's high winds. Mr. Atchley met with us to discuss the problems. He presented options, listened to our preferences, and made additional recommendations. We received a detailed estimate shortly afterwards. The work was started on schedule and the work crew arrived on time each day, so we never had to wait for their arrival. The crew cleaned up each day, respecting our home and property through the removal of our old chimney and fireplace and installation of the new materials. We were kept informed during the process so we were always aware of the progress of the work and what would be done the next day. Our rebuilt chimney is of superior craftsmanship to the original. "Tim came out and gave me a prompt estimate in August. Said he was very busy and could not squeeze me in until end of September. Waiting was okay with me - the repair was not urgent. He texted me the day before he came with two other workers. They removed the old blocks and replaced with new. Also put a new cap on the porch. They were finished the same day. Tim came back the next day to remove the forms for the cap. Looks great. I'mm have him come back in the spring and replace the steps. and a couple foundation windows."
