"We live 45 minutes from the closest town of some size. There is always a trip charge when anyone comes up. I saw Countryside Appliance's ad in our local paper. The larger repair companies down the hill couldn't make it up here for two weeks! We run a small inn and that would not work for us! We called Countryside Appliance. Jason came that afternoon, was on time and quickly diagnosed our problem. Our dryer was also in bad need of general maintenance due to our heavy use. He did a temporary fix so we could use the dryer because he had to order a part from Denver. He said it could take 1 to 3 days to get the part. In 2 days he was back and fixed our dryer - it runs like new! Jason was professional, knew what he was doing, took great care to cover his shoes before walking on our hardwood floors, took great care to put carpet squares under our appliance to make sure he didn't mar our floors, took great care to rebalance our machine before leaving - couldn't have asked for better service! "I didn't have any experience finding refrigerator repair services in Aurora at all - I checked Angie's List and found Van's Refrigeration - I called and asked that a repairman come out ASAP to fix a refrigerator that would not cool at all - fears of a bad compressor and large expense were on my mind. The service call was to cost $54.95 if no repair was done and would be waived if repaired. That seemed reasonable, so I set an appointment for a 4 hour interval that afternoon. The repairman was punctual and quickly got to work diagnosing the problem, while vacuuming dust from behind the fridge - the dust had been a factor in the problem. He found a relay switch and overload was fried and replaced them. He then checked out the dishwasher and determined it would be cheaper to buy a new one. We were very pleased with his professionalism and the effort he took to leave the work area cleaner than he found it. It was great that his truck was stocked with the parts that he needed so there was no delay in repairing the fridge. He waived the service charge and took an online coupon to defray the expense.
