My project was about 6 kW and consisted of 22 panels, each panel was 275 Watts. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"He was awesome.  He called back, but he was working in Reed field, North Carolina and he could not get to us for a couple of days.  By the time, he got to us we had already gotten the other estimates, and we were pleased with him.  Hampton guy was great.  He was really quick to get back to us, but he had other projects that he had already lined up.  The experience was very satisfactory.  He was very courteous, and prompt.  He was very honest in saying that he cannot get to us, and if we needed to have this work done now, then we need to have to get somebody else.  I appreciated that."

"I think it was mainly to get me to set up a yearly maintenance agreement with them. He never did come back with the filter. Did not complete that. After he left within 2 days I had to call my warranty company because my heater was no longer working. Come to find out when the guy originally came out, which he did not plug in one of things all the way. So when it came in it shook it loose. So I ended up having to pay my warranty company to come out and plug it back in. I wasn't all that happy. You get what you pay for. I thought $35 was relatively cheap. I thought all I needed was the filter changed really, and he didn't even do that. I won't be using this company again. They came out within the same week that I bought the deal. He was very nice and punctual. The price was really great, but there again, you get what you pay for. I had another company out that I had purchased before and they did a fantastic job. I should have went back with that company. He was very responsive. I just won't use them."
