Get matched with top wood flooring installation pros in Coatesville, PA

"Steve refinished 3000 sq ft of 1960s original red ok floors for my primary residence. He did an AMAZING job bringing these floors back to life and probably it saved us thousands of dollars from having to install new floors. He’s a magician with wood — highly recommend."

"During our first discussion, Russ provided deep insights into how he handles hardwood floor installation, things to consider in terms of vendors and how he separates himself from his competition. After our first discussion, I knew he was the right person to work with. He was very prompt in addressing my multiple questions prior to and during the project. Early on we spoke about timing, when it would be completed and he did not disappoint hitting the mark. Russ and his team were very professional, providing me daily updates of the status, what they would be handling the following day etc. The most important thing, the floor looks great. I will be recommending RJM Flooring to anyone that is in need of flooring installation."

"Max was absolutely fantastic! We had him install laminate wood flooring on both of our staircases in our 100 year old home and he knocked it out of the park! I highly recommend Maxamus Projects to anyone needing work done in their home!"

"Amazing team. From the inspection, to install, and completion. It’ll be tough to find a company as comprehensive as this one. Quality service, communication, and execution."

Flooring done right at an affordable cost

"I had all my hardwood floors in my two-story center-hall 1949 colonial home refinished and repaired, and stained to a beautiful dark espresso color. This was a huge job, we had to do it in two stages while I was out of the country. Julio worked with me for a number of days before I left to get exactly the right stain "recipe" and he applied it to a small test room so I could make sure I was happy. While I was gone, Julio and his crew removed all the furniture and did the downstairs floors and most of the upstairs floors, saving two of the bedrooms for the next stage of the job. Their work was impeccable: the floors were banished to a lovely glow, and repair work was done so seamlessly that it was undetectable. Dust was kept to an absolute minimum, and there was no staining of my baseboards or walls. A month later I was leaving the country again and they came in and finish the remaining rooms, again masterfully. Their work was so artful that it changed and upgraded my entire home."

HIRE THIS MAN! Integrity, artistry, and honesty -- we love Sam!

My boyfriend, Peter, and I had just closed on our new house on the Friday and wanted to refinish our hardwood floors before we moved in. Weeks earlier I had scheduled someone to give us an estimate the day after the closing (to start the following Monday), but when that contractor arrived he told us that the floors were irreparably damaged because the previous owners had painted them rather than stained them. He said we would be better off installing new floors, which he would be happy to do for about 4 times the cost of what he told me over the phone. He also told us that the flooring that we did have was not nice enough to sand and polyurethane, anyway, and if we still wanted to go that route, we would have to find someone else. We told him that we would have to think about it and waved goodbye.

I immediately got on the Internet and found Sam's Hardwood Flooring (Loc Pham). He came out the next day (Sunday) and said that he could do the job despite the black paint. He also cautioned us that the floors might be a little damaged by the paint; we wouldn't know until after the sanding. We assured him that we like "character" in hardwood floors. In fact, we were hoping that the floors would be heart pine with lots of knots and variation in the grain as well as nail holes and age, but it turned out that the floors were a soft pine (less interesting but old enough to still have character.) Anyway, Sam and his team started work on the Wednesday and were done Friday afternoon, a week after we closed on the house! He sanded the floors to their original 1878 beauty and put down three coats of polyurethane (satin finish).

Since Peter is very busy at work (in Philly), and since I live and work up in Boston, we were glad that we felt very comfortable giving Sam the keys to the house for the three days. He, Peter, and I stayed in communication via text and telephone throughout the process. Peter stopped by before the finishing to see if we wanted to stain or just polyurethane (a debate that Peter and I had for months before we even bought the house). I was FaceTimed in to the discussion. In the end we decided the floors were simply so pretty that we would just do the poly to emphasize the old country charm of the wood. I mean, the floors look F'ng AMAZING! We are beyond thrilled.

That first guy obviously thought he would upsell us. The other day I ready a quote in a design magazine, "Only in America would a person rip up high quality 150 year old hardwood flooring worth $15 - $20 per square foot only to install inferior and flimsy modern flooring worth $3 per square foot." I laughed. In the end our project was affordable and we got the real deal.

I wish you all the best with your projects!

"It went well. They replaced all of the carpet with hardwood. All trim was also replaced by LHI. They are terrific carpenters and painters. Will be calling them again soon."

"Arnett and team did an excellent job at communicating, pricing reasonably and refinishing hardwood floors. We has them complete an entire main floor and install hardwood as well. Highly recommend the team!"

"This company was wonderful. Arnett worked magic with their schedule and fit my project in within a day, after weeks of very stressful experiences with some other installers. Footprints worked non-stop, had it done in a day and the floor is expertly done and looks beautiful. Would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Arnett and your great crew."
