"Amazing. YES - you pay a lot - but they rocked, their solution rocked, and the installation was flawless. We just built a brand new home and the builder put in the cheapest 24" deep sump pump possible. We live in an area known for basement flooding so I did my research - had several companies come in - and settled on Connecticut Basement Systems. But my LORD - expensive. But now I know why. Their crew of 3 showed up and laid down plastic mat from our front door all the way down to the basement (at least 200'). It was over kill - but then I saw why. They had to dig a 36" deep pit and a wider hole - and brought up all the mess in buckets. NOT A SINGLE DROP ON THE BASEMENT FLOOR OR ONE THE WAY UP THE STAIRS. In fact - if you didn't see the high tech 3 pump sump pump they installed - you would have never known they were there. EVERYONE was super nice and answered all my many questions. I just spent a year in **** building a new home - and this was the best experience I've had with a contractor in 10 years. Pay the bucks - great product - great installation - great service."

"I try to leave reviews on every business that I’ve been in contact with. I can say that this company, “Joe the Plumber” in CT (a Perras Family Co.) is simply awesome. I had used them years ago on my first house here in Glastonbury. They were great then. Maybe 10 years later (this morning) we woke up with no water on our ‘new’ home (24 years old), also in Glastonbury. I called the first number I had on my iPhone at 7am (spoke to a very professional person named Willy) and within 3 hours Wayne Perras (the service tech) & Co were here addressing the problem. After 24 years, the well pump gave out. It was in a 400 feet-deep well. They completed the job in 5 hours. I didn’t have to wait until Monday, which was one of my concerns. Wayne was very straight forward. No BS. Gave me the quotes. I agreed, since it sounded reasonable. I had changed the pump on my other house (not as deep & smaller pump) so I knew around how much it would cost. Wayne was great, knowledgeable and had a friendly and respectful disposition. The the techs doing the installation were great! Not only were they very knowledgeable, they were also extremely courteous. They cleaned everything up when they were done. AJ came out for an estimate and explained the work he was going to do and gave me options on what different things he could do to help me out. He kept my wife and I in the loop every step of the way during the project. In addition, the crew didn't rush the job. They made sure the job was done right. Before the work was performed our basement would flood very easily when it rained. After the work was performed it rained and the basement was bone dry. This was a huge relief. Not having to mop up water every fifteen minutes was wonderful. Our sump pump doesn't run half as much as it used to.
