More recently in 2024 we had more remodeling tasks done by DMV under excellent supervision of Jordi. Even now when we need some minor improvements needed Jordi is very helpful to find time to get it done. "We are very happy with the remodel. Jason, the project manager, was great to work with. He called at least once a day to check on our satisfaction with the job and to answer any questions. Jason also visited the work site most days and we reviewed the work each time. Jason quickly responded to several concerns we had and solved the problems quickly. The job supervisor, Walter, was also did a great job. Like Jason, he was very responsive to our concerns and ensured that the quality of the work met our requirements. At least one workman came every day, often two. The work was completed quickly and they cleaned up after each work day. We highly recommend VKB kitchen and Bath."

"Francisco worked with us and went over just about ever inch of our new kitchen design and options for the remodel. He was very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had, and he always was transparent with us regarding costs and designs. Once the design and material was picked out, we were able to set up the project with about 6-8 weeks lead time. Once the project began, his team, led by their onsite manager, Ismael, were absolutely fantastic with the quality of work. If they had questions, they asked, and we all worked together to get exactly what my wife and i wanted in our brand new kitchen (which we LOVE). I am absolutely ecstatic on the work they did. "I needed to upgrade my galley style kitchen in an old row house in DC. Last reno was 20 years ago, a lot of wear and tear was showing and some issues behind the scenes needed to be fixed. Not able to make the kitchen bigger, was hoping by making it lighter and brighter with cabinets and paint would give it a more specious appearance. My initial meeting with Mr. Tony Heard gave me a lot of confidence that he understood what I was looking for as well as ensuring that any issues would be addressed and resolved. The first day of renovation, I met with the team, led by Mr. George Pitts who explained the process. They were all very personable and just all-around good people to work with. One of my neighbors mentioned, "I bet your kitchen will look amazing, those guys are the happiest contractors I have ever seen. Seems they love what they do". I had to agree, everyone was a joy to work with and it really put my mind at ease. The communication with Mr. George and others was always clear and timely, specially making it a point to show me specific issues that needed to be fixed, and the cost so there would be no financial surprises. I had no doubt that the outcome was going look nice, but I must admit that once I saw the finished kitchen I was extremely pleased. The look and the attention to detail, came out better than I expected. It was completed right before Thanksgiving and family and friends were amazed. And to top it all off, I got exactly what I wanted in a kitchen, and it all came within my budget. Win Win!! "We had an amazing experience with John Krause Construction. We originally called them because our basement kept getting water in it every time it rained. While they were at our house for the basement waterproofing estimate we had them take a look at our deck and kitchen just to get an idea of the pricing. Once we received the estimate we decided to move forward with all of the work because we were able to get a great deal for doing all of the projects at the same time. We are beyond satisfied with the results and will definitely call them again for any future projects."

"Luis Vazquez and his assistant arrived on time on a Sunday.  He asked me and my husband what tasks we wanted completed.  We provided him with a list of work to be completed and we gave a brief explanation.  They began completing the tasks immediately.  They were especially helpful with the crack repair on the kitchen ceiling.  My husband tried to fix the crack about 3 weeks ago but it didn't look professionally done.  Luis repaired the crack but the primer he applied to the ceiling hadn't dried completely.  He did sand the ceiling in the dry spots before he left our home.  He told us what to do to complete the repair (simple and quick) after the primer dried and now the ceiling looks great--you wouldn't even know the ceiling was ever cracked.  Overall, Luis and his assistant did a great job.  They were professional and friendly.  The only con I want to mention is, not knowing that  there was a 4 hour minimum of work.  They completed the work in 3.5 hours. When I spoke to Luis on the telephone he didn't mention this to me so I was caught off guard when I saw it written on the invoice.  When I told him that I wasn't aware of the 4 hour minimum he smiled and offered no response.  If not for this, I would have rated his overall performance with an A.  This is also why I rated the price with a D."
