Polom Contracting had a few strong reviews and I reached out to them first. Gleison came to my house, gave me a very fair estimate and explained the process in a nutshell. Once the permit was approved, his team came on site within a few days and got to work. He was on site every day. "Bob Laurendi and his Vandelay Roofing team are an absolute pleasure to deal with.  They were very responsive to my inquiry regarding my roofing needs, coming over and inspecting the existing roof within three (3) days of my first telephone call.  At that time, Bob explained the various options I should consider in installing a new (flat) roofing system, including cost variances and environmental considerations.  When I made my decision regarding the system I wanted, Bob told me he would have a formal quote to me within the week.
Less than a week later, Bob sent over his proposal and simple contract; I made one or two revisions to the specifications, which he readily accepted, and we scheduled the work for two or three weeks later.  Right on time, he and his crew called and advised me of their intent to start work the following day.  They worked over two (2) days, removing the old roofing system, repairing the wood sheathing where necessary, and installing the new TPO roofing system I had decided upon.  They worked quickly, efficiently, and cleanly, photographing every aspect of their work for my review.
