"Not great. I paid for a chimney sweep and safety inspection (normally $179, but with discount $99). Before the job started, the rep basically told me that I would need a more comprehensive cleaning, despite only mentioning that I had bought the property recently and did not know the condition of the chimney. Of course, the comprehensive cleaning cost nearly 4x what I purchased through Angie's list. I did not have time or patience to argue, so I accepted the price, but it left a bad taste. No point in purchasing a deal through Angie's List, and felt like I was upsold."

"I recently had my heating/a-c unit replaced, but not the ductwork. Since my house is very dusty, I decided to get the air ducts cleaned. The a/c company I used recommended Steamatic to clean the air ducts and to clean the dryer vent. The price quoted over the phone seemed high to me, but I decided to give them a try. The guys showed up on time, introduced themselves and gave me an idea of what they would be doing. I showed them around and told them when the new system was installed. I was pleasantly surprised when the crew leader told me that the cost would be over $200 less than quoted over the phone since they did not need to remove and pressure wash the fans because they were new. The work took about four hours and they appeared to do a thorough job. The workers were very nice/polite young men. I asked if they could show me what the vents looked like so they took photos on their cell phones. They told me that the amount of dirt in my air ducts was actually not too bad for an older home (in comparison to others of similar age) and there was no and quot;growthand quot; that would have required further work and expenses. Overall a great experience and I will have more peace of mind that the air circulating in my home will now be cleaner. <br />"
