"I have lived in my house for over 10 years and junk just kept piling up in the basement.  To avoid being featured on an episode of horders I looked on Craigslist for someone to haul the junk out.  I am capable of doing it myself, but it was on my list of things to do for over a year and I was not getting to it.   <br /> I called three hauling companies from Craigslist and Kevin was the only one to call me back.  He communicates by text message which is great for a contractor I am sure.  He requested my address by text and texted me when he could fit in the job.  When he came to the house for a free estimate we agreed to a price for $375, but as he got into doing the work I decided to also remove junk from the furnace room which we did not discuss earlier.  He thought that room would be one more truck load of junk and we agreed to increase the price $150.  He was very upfront about the additional costs so none of that was a surprise. <br /> He did a great job and cleaned/ vacuumed the basement floor as well as the stairs he used to move the debris out of the basement.   <br /> The only thing left at the end was a few paint cans.  He offered to take those away for another $100 but I just took them to the Household Hazardous Waste site myself for cheaper. <br /> I was very happy with the work.  The cleanup he did after the job was wonderful.  It was so nice to come home to find the job completed and no mess left behind!  If I knew anyone who needed this service I would highly recommend Kevin from Kaveman Hauling! <br />"

"Iowa Home Consulting did a great job painting the exterior of our home.  We received three bids on the project, and theirs came in lowest.  We've also worked with them on numerous other projects, so the choice was clear.  They did a great job throughout, from replacing rotten trim pieces to preparing the surfaces for paint to applying the paint.  They were open to minor changes and suggestions from me during the job.  The job took a little longer than planned due to very cold temperatures, but when the temperatures were good for painting they arrived early and stayed late to get the job done. <br /> In sum, it was a great experience, and we are really happy with how the project turned out.  The house looks great.  We will hire them again, and in fact we already have done so. <br />"
