"UC Fence left us with a quality white vinyl fence at a fair price, nicely installed, and resolved our very few problems professionally and relatively quickly. Our job consisted of replacing 250 linear feet of falling down wood fence with 3 adjoining neighbors, a somewhat tricky hardscape issue, and the need to contain high-jumping cats. Their Sales Manager, Eric Prien, did an admirable job coordinating things with our neighbors (even one we were having trouble getting on board) including getting their payments for their share of the job, and he also took good care of us throughout the process. His estimate was fair & quickly obtained and he followed up with us a number of times as we moved closer to starting the job. The installation crew was knowledgeable, friendly, capable, on time, and clean up was pretty good. UC Fence is fully insured for liability & W/C and have all the necessary licenses and bonding. As in life, not everything is perfect â and this is especially true when hiring contractors to do a job you care about being done right. "I hired Norm to do my garage cabinets and it is a decision that I regret. He showed up late repeatedly and he works by himself. His work is very unpolished and he does not pay attention to details AT ALL. He builds the cabinets from scratch right on the spot. When he first showed up, the materials were already scratched and scuffed up. He also parked his truck in my driveway and it leaked oil all over my pavers, that I had to clean up every day after he left. The edges of my cabinets were starting to peel before he even finished the job. He was supposed to provide additional shelves for our shoe rack and he has not provided them after several calls and almost nine months. I feel compelled to let it be known to others looking to hire him. I wish I had hired someone else. He is a nice guy, but he is not a good businessman."
