"Both installers showed up on time and completed 95 percent of the work in a single day.  They did what I believe to be minimal damage to drywall -- only three holes, one of them in a closet and not noticeable.  Everything worked fine.  They had to return to tack a TIVO mini to the wall behind the mounted bedroom TV only because the Mini had not been delivered when they first arrived.  They kindly made a second trip and took about five minutes to install the Mini out of sight. <br /> <br /> Their estimate was never varied, despite the fact they encountered some relatively abnormal difficulties accessing and pulling the cables through walls with very narrow access in a 55 year old townhouse. <br /> <br /> Their estimate also was one-third that of another company that I had come to the house.  Also, the other company representative seemed confused and challenged by the work, which may be why he provided a substantially higher estimate.  AASV folks seemed unfazed by the job."

Joel worked with us on how to best layout the room and installed the sound system/speakers, projector, screen, lighting, and sound panels. He saw that the screen was 1/16th of an inch off level. I never would have noticed, but he made the adjustments to make it perfect. All of his work was like that - the details are perfect. "I was in need of upgrading my home alarm system, so that I could monitor remotely, and in researching my options I found LiveWatch.  The rep that returned my call was Taylor.  Excellent customer service skills.  Very knowledgeable and patient with me.  I wanted to explore my options before making a decision.  No problem there...Taylor gave me his direct line and I was able to call back to have all my questions answered, and when I was ready to complete my purchase everything went very smoothly.  I was previously with ADT, and after weighing the pro's and con's I chose to purchase new sensors vs trying to switch it over (especially since the equipment I had was somewhat dated).  I like the idea that their system is not only wireless but cellular based.  The system arrived next day vs 2nd day which was great.  Everything was labelled, took no time at all to install the sensors.  The keypad is easy to use; everything so far as been very user friendly.  The appointment to activate and test the system went very smoothly.  They email you and telephone you to make sure everything is ok.  The communication is great.  Everyone has been very pleasant to speak with. I did order an additional sensor after the initial set up and adding it as a new device was easy. Cost wise, it was a blessing to find LiveWatch.  ADT required a 3 year contract to upgrade and an increase of my monthly charges.  LiveWatch was able to meet my needs at an affordable monthly rate.  Thank you for the great service! <br />"

"Easy to install and set up. Simply Safe has good customer service. Simply safe is a good alarm system. It works well. The Siren is loud. The only thing I'd like to see changed is to upgrade the door chimes. They are very hard to hear, even 20-30 feet away. I'd like to be able to hear the chime alerts from anywhere in my average sized home. I had to go to home depot to buy separate door chimes that I could hear ."

"<p>When we bought our house, the front door deadbolt did not work.  But since the latch bolt functioned properly and we had a security system, we lived with the problem just fine.  We are now selling our home, and decided to get the door handle re-brassed.  When the handyman finished the install, the thumb latch was upside down and the latch bolt was a little sticky.  As time went on, it became worse, and today just after noon it became impossible to open the unlocked door from outside the house.  I called Village Lock and Key after finding their positive ratings on Angie's List and Better Business Bureau, and viewing their excellent web site.  They were not sure they could send someone until Monday, but said they would try.  Sure enough, around 3 pm a van pulled up.  A pleasant and professional technician began working on the lock.  He corrected the flipped thumb latch, which fixed the problem with the latch bolt.  He also widened the strike plate holes so the deadbolt now works!  In addition, he cleaned and oiled the lock.  The entire job took about half an hour.  I could not be happier with this company.  I highly recommend them.</p> <br />"
