He came the Sunday after the 4th at 7:30 pm - he was very nice, patient and accommodating and he made it stop beeping and we made an appointment to check out the entire system in the next couple of weeks."

"I'm so impressed with Maguire, who I called because they are a Carrier distributor and we wanted to stay with Carrier. They came and inspected our 15-year old system and gave us options for its replacement.  The costs were comparable to what I had expected for the system as well as labor, and competitive with some other bids. There was a delay in getting the new unit into their warehouse because of a supplier delay, and Maguire kept me updated during that time.
When the new unit arrived, a crew of two (plus an electrician that works with them) removed the old unit and installed the new one in one day (with a quick follow-up the next day to re-install a copper water feed line).  They took the time to tape up some spots in our existing duct work and cleaned the interior AC coil at no charge.  The place was spotless at the end.  I especially appreciated being told that I didn't need a service contract for a new machine -- I've never had an HVAC business turn down a service contract! They said as long as we replaced the filter regularly we should not need maintenance for at least 3 years. At no time did I feel like I was being urged to buy something I didn't need, and all required extra elements (such as the wired CO detector) were explained to my satisfaction. Highly recommend.
